Summary

From the prize-winning author of Trash and Dog, Return to Ribblestrop is sure the delight the most mischievous among us.

It's a new term at Ribblestrop, and the headmaster is hoping for a bit more organisation. But secrets remain under the ground, the new Chaplain is not all that he seems and a truck load of circus animals has taken refuge in the school grounds. Amongst the new intake are a footballing protégée and a trainee psychopath...not to mention a pregnant panther and an escaped crocodile. Things are about to go from bad to worse at Ribblestrop....

Can Millie, Sanchez and the gang help save the day once more?

Just brilliant!

Tom Hollander is the perfect narrator for these wonderful stories. Now I’m off to find the next one in the series!

I never want to leave Ribblestrop

While not carrying the same wonder, punch and delight as the first visit to Ribblestrop. This follows on nicely and gives you more time with the wonderful personalities and characters of the school along with a few great new additions, first among them the legendary Miles.

These books are treasures and should be read, full stop.

Really, really good!

I am very surprised by these books. Highly rec'd that anyone thinking about listening does! Great fun and at last a children's book that doesn't try and push an agenda or speak as though all of us (adults) and children alike are in capable of hearing about difficulties without passing out and doesn't treat us a if we are fools or feeble. Real fun and some fab villains whom make it all the more enjoyable for their dastardly ways and the good that ultimately saves the day. Hope there are more to come.

fantastic book Well worth listening to

this book has it all. excitement, adventure, suspense, mystery, humour, and deeper story lines that I'll not say as I don't want to spoil it for you.
I found myself feeling sorry for some of the characters whilst rooting for others. that's how alive they felt.
the combination of the authors talented ability to write such a great entertaining story and the narrators amazing ability to bring the book alive with his different voices for each character. This is what makes a book well worth listening to.
I would highly recommend it to adults and teenagers. There's a couple of bit's that might upset younger children so personally I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under about 10.
but if like me you grew up reading Enid Blyton adventures and similar books you'll love listening to this collection. it's just a pity there's only 3 books available in this series.

Another gripping read

Not so many laugh out loud moments in this book but just as good. Amazing characters with real emotions. There are some heart-stopping moments and truly beautiful descriptions. About to start book three now!
