white male privilege mansplaining relationships
I have read many of Guys books, which are often insightful but I found this one came across as very misogynistic. The examples of relationship problems were of women being the ones complaining or the men being driven to anger by women. Guy talks about looking inward, and perhaps should look at his own white male privilege and how that may have affected his own view of the world and this book about relationships. I tried going back to this a few times but each time I found it quite egotistical of Mr Finley to suggest he had the answers to everyones relationship problems.
