Sexy bear shifter and sexy supermodel
Book two in Pearls of Desire by Anna Lowe
Hailey is a supermodel in a very destructive relationship with her mother and while in Maui she thinks she’s a bridesmaid but when she gets to wedding she finds out her mother has arranged her to marry the man instead. So Hailey becomes a runaway bride.
While running for safety she runs into bear shifter Timber Hoving and he hides her and takes her to Kao Point.
This relationship was a difficult balancing act because Hailey doesn’t know anything about shifters and once she does she struggles to understand and that they aren’t evil killing animals but loving family that’s trying to make a go of being of the service and having a normal life. I’ve got to admit I loved part but I feel like this is a filler book instead of a stand out book but I wouldn’t miss it to get the sweet moments.
Love the narration by Kelsey Osborne but I would love duel narration with separate male and female voices.
I absolutely love Cynthia and her adorable son especially his relationship with Dell and mischief they get up to. So looking forward to Dell and Cynthia there story.

Cuddly bear shifter
Rebel Bear is the second book in the Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire series. Set on the tropical island of Maui, this book follows Hailey and Timber’s story. It took me a while to warm up to Hailey’s character because she was always clueless to what was going on (even when things were staring her in the face). She also continually put things off and didn’t deal with them. However, I loved Timber; his inner bear was more cuddly than rebel. I also loved getting to know more about the other shifters on the island.
I loved the storyline, and the narration was fabulous as usual, but I wish Hailey hadn’t kept putting things off throughout the book. I received a free copy of this book, and I'm leaving a voluntary review.

Enjoyable
Format: audio book
Hailey is running from her wedding, a wedding she didn’t know about nor wanted. Not a situation Tim was expecting while he was in the food court at the mall!
Hailey feels trapped in her life constantly pushed by her mother, manager and the man who’s decided he’s going to marry her to do what they all want her to do but everyone has a breaking point and she’s hit hers.
There’s some good tense moments in this story, seeing Hailey stand up to her mother and Jonathan was extremely satisfying and when danger really is staring her in the face she finds a strength she never knew she had.
The narrator again does a good job bringing this story to life even if you’ve read the book I’d recommend you listen to the audiobook too.
I’m really liking this pearls of desire series, each book gives you a hint of the trouble to come.
There’s definitely a history between Cynthia and Moira, I feel a showdown coming and I can’t wait to see that.

Hailey and Tim - Will She Stay?
This book about Timber and Hailey, we met Timber aka Tim in the previous book when he and his brothers arrived on this island paradise to work security for their friends. When Tim meets Hailey she is running, she got up that morning thinking she was going to be a Bridesmaid at the wedding of her boyfriend's sister. She had been planning on breaking off her relationship with Jonathan but didn't want to spoil his sister's wedding for him. So she enters the wedding space to find she's been ambushed, for want of a better word, Jonathan goes down on one knee and proposes so THEIR WEDDING can take place now!
This plan has been concocted by Jonathan and her mother (a really greedy, selfish piece of work in my opinion, she tries to tell them both NO but they won't take no for an answer the only option left to her is to RUN! Run she does straight into Tim who helps her ESCAPE and offers her a place of safety. Tim has already recognised her as his fated mate but how to convince her.
Hailey is invited to stay with Tim and help him fix up a property belonging to Boon, another bear shifter, did I mention Tim is a bear shifter? Whilst they spend a week together working on the property and getting to know each other Hailey is falling for Tim but Tim is holding back, could Hailey love a shifter?
When Hailey is attacked by a wolf shifter working for Jonathan Tim and his brother Connor save her but she is so frightened by the experience that Tim feels he can't tell her what he is. So despite a deep love on his part he decides to keep his secret and loose Hailey. But once again Destiny steps in and forces both their hands, the truth comes out in the most dramatic way, Anna Lowe never does things by halves, I was on the edge of my seat wondering how Tim and Hailey were going to survive this part of the story. I loved this book I loved getting to know Hailey and watching her character grow and I adored Tim, I can't look at a door frame now without thinking of him - you will know why when you listen to this book. I can't really say anything further without giving out too many spoilers, if you have read the blurb you know what to expect but whatever your expectations - this book will exceed them. I loved it
Aloha Shifters is by far my most favourite series to date, this book is the second book in Pearls of Desire, a follow on from Aloha Shifters but I personally think of it as one series. The writing style of Anna Lowe is so very good and easy to follow along, her descriptions of the places and the people make you feel like you've met them and the depth she gives to all her characters is just incredible her words paint a picture and that picture in painted beautifully by Kelsey Osborne who does the most amazing job of narrating this book. I can't praise her or Anna Lowe highly enough. Bring on the next book I say!
This book was given me as a gift and I am voluntarily writing my review.

bearing it all.
another fantastic book, the characters are so beautifully written. the story is full of twists, some you might expect, others you certainly won't. The narrator does an incredible job, which she has on every book. This series is an interesting one, one of my favourite things is returning characters from another series. It's something I've come to love about Anna Lowe's books, although I might have to invest in some headphones. My husband always seems to walk in on the steamy parts, he keeps giving me funny looks. Definitely don't listen to these around your young ones, that's one you won't want to explain.
