About this listen
Eliana is a woman on the run. As a Shadow Walker, she is driven from her home in Rome when she believes the man she loved murdered her father. Now she makes her living as an art thief and a competitor in the underground fighting circuit of Paris. But her past is about to catch up with her in the form of The Hunt, a group of elite assassins with one objective: eliminate her before she can expose the secrets of her shape-shifting clan to the world…
Demetrius is a man with nothing left to lose. Haunted by the memory of Eliana and the passion they once shared, he will risk everything to save her from the killers on her tail. He must convince her, before the ancient walls between two worlds crumble, that only together can they defeat their real enemy, a brilliant, cunning traitor far more deadly than either of them can guess.

Brilliant
Any additional comments?
I'd been really looking forward to this book and Eliana & Demetrius' story! It did not disappoint! This couple go through a lot in this book. I found myself alternately shouting at Eliana to trust Demetrius and sympathising with her cause she's been basically brainwashed into believing Demetrius wants to kill her and the rest of her group by someone she's known and trusted her whole life. She doesn't know what to believe anymore.
I loved a lot of the secondary characters, especially Mel, Eliana's best friend. I loved Mel's sense of humour and how she believed in both Eliana and Demetrius.
I really enjoyed the couple's journey and the new developments in the series. I laughed at times and at other times I will admit to getting a little teary eyed. I'm hoping that they'll still be a part of the next book and that perhaps Mel will have a big part to play as I really liked her character!
A great book and series! I highly recommend it

good listen
It's actually a good series, a bit repetitive but otherwise I like it. Well read and was easy to listen to.

Strident hard to listen to narration
The strident hard to listen to narration and flat tone made it impossible to get into the actual story. Only managed 11 minutes! Feel sure this is a good story as all the others by this writer are, so will read it on Kindle.
