Excellent for auditory learners with a musical ear
I have a real issue learning from a book or being told constantly with repetition. Earworms has enabled me to learn Greek very quickly with music, I don't know how it works, but it does! After a couple of weeks, I had to buy volume 2 because I was fluent in the greek taught on volume 1! I would definately recomend this to people who learn more by sounds than reading.

An easy listen, but limited content
Very easy to listen to whilst driving, (and running, reading and watching TV). Not very demanding and not much content.

Simply the best
This has to be the best learning, device ever.relax and learn far better than trying to learn yourself from books. Over the years i have spent a lot of money trying to speak greek. this was a bargain. I have learnt more words and sayings than i have in the past ten years. Simply the best.

Rapid Greek
I have studied
foreign languages for a lifetime and this has to be the most effective and enjoyable method so far.
The bonus is that the teachers seem to be enjoying themselves and who wouldn't want to be taught by such enthusiastic people not to mention the very becoming voice of the young lady teacher.

A great way to learn a new language
I've listened to this only a few times and am amazed at how many phrases I can remember. The narrators sound like they are having fun (quite unlike other audio language courses I have tried) and the music really helps memory retention. In an attempt multi-task by breaking the monotony of my horrendous daily commute AND being able to have proper conversations with my friends in Greece, it's absolutely perfect. I hope Rapid Greek: Volume 2 will be appearing soon!

Rapid Greek Vol 1
I purchased this along with the Michel Thomas book and the One Day Greek book. Repetition is the key - but I think I might go mad if I continue to repeat the Earworms learning tape.... the music is beginning to mask the vocabulary.
I think too that it's value lies more in building vocabulary than teaching the structure of the language, something the Michel Thomas tape achieves very well.
I am glad to have the Earworms book - variety is good in any repetitive method - but I won't be buying book 2 just yet - although I have ordered the foundation and advanced courses by the Michel Thomas method.
The One Day Greek book is also an easier listen than this.

Content satisfactory, production poor
The situations and phrases which are chosen are the ones that you would want to use on a holiday. The background music is unnecessary and a distraction. It makes it difficult to hear pronunciation which is not always clear in any case. The Collins Greek course I found to be much better.
