About this listen

The action begins six days after a series of explosions devastated Washington, D.C., targeting the National Counterterrorism Center and killing 185 people, including public officials and CIA employees. It was a bizarre act of extreme violence that called for extreme measures on the part of elite counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp and his trusted team member, Mike Nash.

Now that the initial shock of the catastrophe is over, key Washington officials are up in arms over whether to make friends or foes of the agents who stepped between the enemy's bullets and countless American lives regardless of the legal consequences. Not for the first time, Rapp finds himself in the frustrating position of having to illustrate the realities of national security to politicians whose view from the sidelines is inevitably obstructed.

Meanwhile, three of the al Qaeda terrorists are still at large, and Rapp has been unofficially ordered to find them by any means necessary. No one knows the personal, physical, and emotional sacrifices required of the job better than Rapp. When he sees Nash cracking under the pressure of the mission and the memories of the horrors he witnessed during the terrorist attack, he makes a call he hopes will save his friend, assuage the naysayers on Capitol Hill, and get him one step closer to the enemy before it's too late.

Once again, Rapp proves himself to be a hero unafraid "to walk the fine line between the moral high ground and violence" (The Salt Lake Tribune) for our country's safety, for the sake of freedom, for the pursuit of honor.

"Flynn demonstrates that he truly understands the psyche of the enemy.... Really scary, so realistic." (BookReporter.com)

Meny substorys, good

Bra stort på många nivåer. Somliga författare tänderar att bara ha en huvudståry så inte här.

Excellent book

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. George Guidall is a very good narrator and it's a brilliant political thriller. I must recommend it.

Another excellent story by Vince Flynn

A rollercoaster ride across the US following the terrorists who brought down the CIA last book. This brings the story to an amazing ending. Mitch Rapp saves the life of his best friend & counter terror agent. George Guidall exceptional as always.

Not the best of the series but if you are a Fan of Rapp you will enjoy it, I did. Finishes up threads from previous book.

So American ☺

A bit gung-ho but good fun. Modern day John Wayne. Excellent narration. Would happily recommend.

Good book, don't like narrator

Where does Pursuit of Honor rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Good book, but I don't like George Guidall as a narrator. I have read more of the Mitch Rapp series and like all of them sofar.

Fabulous,I was hooked from the start

Mitch Rapp books don't disappoint. Full of dramatic action and populated by characters who are multi layered. It's easy to sympathise with the assassin who is at heart a great guy - flawed by his own admission, but selfless in a selfish world. In this book, one of the terrorists is also someone with a conscience; a rarity but it works.

Slow and uneventful. So much repetition from his previous books.

As always George Guidall’s narration is first class. However the story is weak and rehashes many nuggets from previous Mitch Rapp novels. Nothing original in this one. As a big fan of Vince Flynn this was a real let down. No tension, no gripping situations, just perfunctory killing.
