Invaluable resource for a first time Dad
As a first-time dad, the prospect of navigating the world of pregnancy and parenthood can be overwhelming to say the least. That's why I was so grateful to have stumbled upon this audiobook.
This book is a comprehensive resource that covers everything a first-time dad needs to know about pregnancy, childbirth, and the early months of parenthood. From understanding the changes your partner's body will go through to practical tips on how to support her during labor and beyond, this guide has it all.
What I appreciated most about this book is that it doesn't just focus on the physical aspects of pregnancy, but also delves into the emotional and psychological changes that both partners will experience. The author does an excellent job of presenting this information in a way that is both informative and relatable, making it an easy and enjoyable listen.

A great resource for the new dadc
It’s vital that men get involved from the beginning, since they have no way of experiencing pregnancy first-hand. This book has a lot of facts and helpful tips to help teach them to be more supportive of their partners. I like that “compassion” was used as a way to understand their partners emotionally, physically, and mentally. Also, bringing postpartum depression into the conversation is crucial to understanding immediate and long-term reactions to this life-changing event. An all-around great resource for the new dad.

Get Ready Dads
I can't wait to be a dad! This audiobook helped cover all the bases for what to expect during pregnancy, birth, and taking care of a baby onward. I like how the author breaks down the experiences of the soon-to-be mother, the baby's growth in the womb, and also what dads can expect from themselves as they prepare for the baby.
There are so many technical details that you might have not known going into this. The author and this audiobook do a great job of breaking it all down and detailing it so that you can become aware and know how to handle the next step in the process of fatherhood.
The narrator does a good job at vocalizing the important aspects of the pregnancy and seems like an older brother coaching someone on what to expect as though they've gone through it themselves. It made it relatable. If you are expecting a little one soon, you gotta have a listen to this audiobook.

Dad's Important Too
Everyone's always so focused on mom, and sometimes we forget that dad is going through a lot too. Listen to this book from beginning to end, but then, listen to each month as it approaches. It's one of the things I loved about this book. It takes you down the timeline from beginning to end, and I'm certain that each month that approaches, a refresher of what to expect that month will be helpful. Ultimately, this book will not only help dad with everything he's going through, but it will help him support mom too. Well done!

Extremely Useful
This is a great audiobook aimed at new dads. The book is packed with tons of useful and informative content, all broken down into sections that are clear and easy to follow. And the narration is excellent too. The book covers everything a new father needs to know, including stuff you might not have originally thought about! And the content also keeps the mother in mind too. Rocky Hunter does an amazing job. Recommend!

Every Dad-to-Be Needs This Book!
Do you feel ready to become a dad for the first time? Well, if a baby is on the way, congratulations! And you definitely need this book! Even if you feel somewhat confident in your parenting abilities, you know you have lots to learn, because with each new season of life, we need advice from those who have already been there.
And this book’s got you covered! It breaks down pregnancy into month-sized segments, telling you what is happening in the baby’s development and your wife or partner’s body during each month. There is plenty of scientific and medical information throughout the book, as well as tips as down-to-earth as saving money when buying for the baby, the types of bras a nursing mom needs, sharing the news with family, maintaining romance and intimacy, and packing a hospital bag.
I’ll never be a dad, but if I’m ever a mom, I will definitely ask my husband to read this book. It would be a great conversation-starter for the many topics partners would need to discuss and work on together. The author’s approach and willingness to bring up what could seem awkward will go a long way towards making such conversations lighthearted and productive.
Not only does the author encourage you to be a great husband or partner to your baby’s mother, he gives you dozens (maybe hundreds) of practical suggestions of exactly how you can support her in specific situations or when she is dealing with different emotions.
You have taken on lots of responsibility in becoming a father, and this book will not give you any free passes on shirking your important role. Yet at the same time, you are not expected to be a superhero or get it all right. The author wisely and graciously acknowledges that dads are sometimes ignored in books about pregnancy and having a new baby. As a dad, you have emotions and struggles and new challenges as well, even though the baby is not growing in your belly. So you are encouraged to be honest about your feelings and needs in the whole process and take care of yourself so you can be there for your partner and be the best new dad you can possibly be!
Fatherhood is your new adventure! This book can be the roadmap to guide you around every new turn of the pregnancy and new baby season. Buy it today!

Comprehensive and well structured
I found this audiobook to be a great resource for first time dads, with a great structure, goes into the subject quite in detail from pregnancy evolution, intimate life during these months, how to best support your pregnant partner etc. I think the author has done a great job in his research and putting this resource together. The narration is very enjoyable also.

What a disappointment
I spent quite a while reading Amazon reviews to find a book for men on pregnancy. A book boy written by a woman but by a man. A book not written for women but for men. A book that I written for normal men that doesn’t necessarily think like a woman necessarily. And lastly a book that doesn’t feed my political correct thinking instead of leaving the thinking to myself. What a disappointment. This book make weird claims that men can be mothers, gay couples prove this fact?! It feels you how to raise your child to be inclusive to give them a better life, etc. If you’re a man with normal intelligence, I’d look elsewhere for a book on pregnancy.
