Summary
Blunt, shocking, and sometimes profane, this exciting audiobook blasts self-help and feel-good remedies to expose the lies with which we imprison ourselves. It talks straight, hard, and true to the heart of the human condition, pulling no punches. It gives us simple yet revolutionary tools to break out of our minds and into a direct and immediate perception of exactly where we are - then shows us how we can together create a world that works for everyone.
The audiobook is divided into five sections:
- True Individuality
- Community and Compassion
- Creating Your Own Destiny
- How to Speak and Listen Your Projects into Reality
- Paradigms and Contexts: The Revolution of Consciousness as Political Change

Great content, terribly read.
I was very keen to devour this book, and the content is clearly profoundly helpful. But the delivery is quite simply awful. I don't like being so harsh, but the reader (also the author) really hasn't got the skills or charisma to do his book any justice. I really wish he had got a professional in to read it for him.
I will try to continue listening to the book to see what I can get from it, but I find it very difficult to absorb the lessons as he has a strong accent and he kind of lazily slurs his way through the book.
All that said the content is very good. I've done training workshops with Peter Ralston, who teaches very similar distinctions. The book attempts to teach us how to become identified with the "noticer" of our experience, rather than living in a reactive chain of events and identifying with our justification stories. Very clear and helpful stuff!
I might just have to buy it on Kindle to get the most from it, and avoid the frustration.

Liberating
Excellent, to the point, a perception changer.
I came across Brad after finding autogenic relaxation on YouTube. very useful tool. I aim to read the rest of his work. intelligent, witty and occasionally blunt. No nonsense approach.

5 stars if it had been half the length
Some very profound passages but sooo much filler/repetition. Half the length would have helped.
