Summary

A tale of crime, power, betrayal, and ambition.

Sometimes, the price to rule your world is paid in blood and heart....

Following the gruesome murder of his father and shady arrest of his brother, Michael Russo is forced to take over the Russo Crime family. His first objective as the Don of the Russo family is to avenge his father’s death and wipe out the gang that orchestrated the assassination. With the help of the other crime families of Devas, Michael executes his vengeance in a gruesome and pivotal fashion. Afterwards, he settles into the life of a Don and tries to focus on managing the family business.

However, vengeance is expensive and often best left to Karma. Michael is forced to pay for the help he had received from the other crime families. Little by little the other families carve up his territory for themselves, until his gang is weak and his finances are sickly. Back to the wall, with his family facing extinction, Michael is forced to make a big and desperate move. A move leading inevitably to more desperate actions that put all he has in danger, forcing him to lose a lot in order to gain what he believes he needs.

Loved It

I just love a good period piece, but this one is so much more because its based on a subject that's never put to the forefront.
