Fast learning results
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I strongly recommend any of the Pimsleur language courses. You are intermediately able to use the language. I have already learnt Hebrew and Swahili with them.
What about Pimsleur’s performance did you like?
The 30 min daily lessons allow you to learn in an easy fast track. I can learn while walking to my work or cleaning my home.

Useful for US tourists

This reviewing format only applies to novels, not to non fiction books. AS a result I am not able to write the review I intended and feel patronised by the "tick the box" approach.
I would add that this audiobook assumes that the speaker is American, and male. There is not even an option for saying "I'm British" or "I'm Spanish". I find that annoying. Poland isn't part of the US empire, as far as I know...
I bought this to help me to learn some basic phrases to use in the nursery where I work with a Polish-speaking child aged three, whose parents have not taught him English. It has been useful in this regard though there is no grammar and no indication of how to pronounce written words, It's all based on the "Listen and Repeat" approach. I find that somewhat limiting.
Still, for a long weekend in Krakow, it would be plenty. I downloaded the next part, too, and got as far as unit nine. Then my little charge began to learn a lot of English from his playmates.

Fantastic, finally able to speak in sentences
I haven't finished this yet but already I've picked up more than any other learning way I've tried, my other half is polish and we have been together a little over 2 years and I have tried a few other options to learn but no joy, I previously only managed to remember single words but with this pimsleur way of learning I'm picking up sentences and moving on to the next sections pretty quickly and Remembering what I've learnt in the previous, absolutely fantastic and ty so much

A tale of love and companionship for the ages
This is a deeply moving tale of an American man looking for love in Poland. Desprately asking any passers where he can find 'beautiful street'. Although his mental state is questionable at times as he stalks women in the market. he eventually finds the love and companionship he was looking for but not in the way you would expect...

Polish Language
