About this listen
Mitzi leads a quiet life as a professional matchmaker. Her cozy life is turned upside down when she is chosen as the matchmaker for an alien species searching for wives. Naturally, she refuses. Unfortunately, she’s having a hard time saying no to the dashingly handsome but domineering alien warrior. Although, he makes her heart flutter, it’s a good thing he’s not her type.
Jax, captain of the Talzor starship, is ordered to hire a shalhinari, a spiritual matchmaker, to find soul mates for six of his men. He locates the best shalhinari on Earth; yet, Mitzi Selig, the earthbound woman, tries his patience. To his distress, he is drawn to her beauty, questioning his judgment. Worse, his long suppressed empathy gene awakens, a trait not seemly for a warrior.
The magnetic pull between Captain Jax and Mitzi is astronomical. Yet, can a tormented warrior and a woman who refuses to leave Earth find love? A long light-year distance relationship is one thing, but looming danger could curtail any chance for their star-crossed passion.

Great storyline
I enjoyed this book. The storyline was very good. The characters were strong and unique. I feel like there’s more from these characters to come. Elizabeth’s performance was great.

The characters just draw you in
I loved this book, it was very steamy yet achinly sweet, action packed but still pulled off a very romantic feel. The characters were so likable, it was hard not to be invested in their lives and Eliabeth Walker's narration brought it all to life beautifully. I hope this is the start of a new series, I see a lot ot potential fot it to be an amazing series. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Aliens with a conscious....fab stuff!
I really like the setup of this book. Aliens swapping stuff for brides is not a new idea but this one is handled in such a good way. I love the matchmaker element to it. it's so good! It also feels very real, not everything goes right, it doesn't all work out. I just enjoyed it so much. I would happily stay with them so much longer.
Elizabeth Walker does such a good job with the narration she adds so much to the story.

Intergalactic romance for the matchmaker!
An alien captain is looking for spiritually sound matches for his crew and has followed the reputation of one matchmaker to Earth to request her assistance. Mitzi is nothing if not determined to find the ideal mates for her clients. But what happens when the matchmaker find her match? Nothing quite like two people who are intended for each other but insist on resisting the connection. Aside from their own resistance, there are other challenges along the way. Love is never quite as easy as one would wish!
This has all the hallmark characteristics of Eva Gordon's stories: alpha men; strong and quirky female protagonists; a flavour of Jewish culture; a few bad guys; lots of action; interesting secondary characters; and the potential for more stories in the same world. In fact, I really hope this book is the start of a new series. There is a lot of potential for romantic mayhem in this fictional universe.
