Summary

Wonderful
Fantastic storyline I absolutely love these books so gritty yet funny in parts with some characters having a great sense of humour. we now have a new character with baby Piper so hopefully she will follow her mum and dad's footsteps. Kelley Hazen what a brilliant narrator you are your voice changes and reading depth of the story is brilliant you nail it with each character.

Brilliant Series
I love all the Peyton Brooke’s stories. Every character and plot is well thought. I look forward to many more in this series’s. Keep up the good work M.L. and you too Kelley for bringing the characters to life. I would definitely watch this if it was on T.V. :-)

Brilliant
Awesome as always I love this series and this is another brilliant addition. Great characters and Awesome storyline.
Kelly Hazen’s narration is perfect as always.
Can not wait for the next one.

Brilliant, as usual!
When some author's release audiobooks, I have an urgent desire to drop everything and dive right into the book. I don't need to read the blurb, I just need to make time. ML Hamilton's Peyton Brooks series, narrated by Kelley Hazen, is one such series for me. And.... boy, oh boy!... do these two deliver!! Every single time!
First, before anything else, please read the books that come before this in the series. ML Hamilton artistically handles multiple plots in each book. One is the unique book plot where the characters work on a specific case or cases. This plot always reaches a satisfactory conclusion by the end of the book. The other plots tend to span a few books or the entire series as they slowly develop. So while you can experience the book as a standalone, I personally think it is best enjoyed as a part of the series and in order.
Second, play attention to the timeline. This book jumps back and forth in time. I did get a little confused, I will admit. I appreciate that the reader/listener was warned at the beginning. Despite being a bit confused, it did not detract from my overall enjoyment of the book. It was just very different from previous books in the series.
That said, all our beloved characters were included... Marco (of course) Abe, Jake, Maria, the Ghost Squad, Radar and the rest. Peyton is expecting a baby while she transitions to a new position at the FBI. Maybe a little too much excitement for our dynamic duo!
