About this listen
Wyn and Remy Gastineau were perfect together....
Until, without warning, Remy walks out on their life, their love, and their marriage.
Wyn is blindsided and heartbroken. It takes her years to get over the loss of Remy.
Sometime later, their children call a family meeting, and Remy is acting strange. Wyn refuses to hope. Remy has moved on. She must do the same.
But she’s wrong.
Remy wants her back, and he’s pulling no punches. He’s determined to do the work to piece together the marriage he shattered. Forced by circumstances to tell Wyn things he never wanted her to know, Remy reveals his tragic secrets.
As the family reels from pain long buried now laid bared, Wyn realizes instead of letting go, she has to hold tight to the man and the family they made that’s perfect together.

If you love KA this one is a must
I absolutely love the stories with more mature lovers. Although the change of heart is quite abrupt and the acceptance of it by all those around the couple is too. I loved the story, both the main characters and their families are well rounded and the family dynamics are wonderful.
The narration is ok. The french is passable but still very American witch, for Remy and his father is strange since his father is a frenchman. This also applies to the childrens names. That sometimes distracts from the excellent story. But all in all a wonderful story from one of my favorite romance authors

Wholeheartedly recommend
Fantastic story as per usual from KA. I don’t know how she does it but her words make me fall in love with the characters Every. Single. Time!!
I hope we have more books about the rest of this beautiful family

A bit disappointed
Having read almost all KA books, this story was probably the most boring and flat.
Performance was quite annoying at times with a speech mannerism (in both characters) that is not natural. The tone of voice is either patronising or dictating.
The storyline was quite tiring.. not sure, maybe it's just me but after waiting for this book to come out I felt like I read a less than average romance novel...
