HALF BOY - HALF GOD - ALL HERO.

FOR ME, THE END OF THE WORLD STARTED WHEN A PEGASUS LANDED ON OUR CAR . .

According to an ancient prophesy, one day the fate of the world will fall on Percy Jackson.
When you’re the son of a Greek god, it happens.

But now that day has come, as Kronos, Lord of the Titans, is beginning his attack on New York City. And the dreaded monster Typhon is also heading that way.

So it’s Percy and his demigod friends versus untold evil . . . No pressure, right?

The best of the original series

What made the experience of listening to Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian the most enjoyable?

The book starts immediately with some action, the pace is faster than the previous parts, and there's more conflict between the characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Percy and Annabeth finally see some more character development. Some more background is given to other characters as well, which is nice.

What does Jesse Bernstein bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Jesse is a very good voice actor. He sounded believable as Percy, and changed his voice slightly for other characters. Very good performance.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to big parts at a time, but the whole book is a bit too long for one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I think it's the best of the original series because of the faster pace, more conflict, and more satisfying finale than "Battle of the Labyrinth"
