Summary
It's time to bring Alina home.
Alina
When I was young, I fell in love with a dark-eyed boy. I never grew out of that crush. Not even when the teenage boy grew up to be a very dangerous man.
Every year, it just grew stronger until I finally turned eighteen and forced him to see me as the woman I'd become and not just as his best friend's little sister.
We were so happy together, but then I was taken. Ripped from him in the cruelest of ways.
But he's looking for me. I know he is, and I know he'll burn the world down to get to me. I just need to hold on a little bit longer.
Matvey
I searched for her for two years. Each day felt like a lifetime. I was losing my mind, imagining all the things that were being done to her.
But I finally found her. And now, it's time to bring her home.
They took her from me, and they're going to pay. I'm getting Alina back, and then we're going to set the world on fire and watch them burn.
Paved in Fire is a very steamy dark Bratva romance intended for mature listeners. This is the conclusion to the Melnikov Bratva series. Each book features a different brother, and although each love story will be complete, the storyline started in the first book will not be completed until the last. These books should be listened to in order.

Brilliant concision to the series!
This book is the 5th and last in the Melnikov Bratva series. Each book tells the story from the pov of the brothers in the bratva and the women they love, weaving together an exiting saga of love, hate, violence, humour, revenge and tenderness. Every thing is in there! (Definitely adult reading though). The books really do need to be read in order and this last book has such a satisfying conclusion! Totally recommend.
