Summary

Ian and crew had reached the end of their road. Hundreds of enemy invaders expending all resources to seize the small sanctuary left to the crew. With hundreds of thousands of infected bearing down on the enemy forces from behind, the situation had turned desperate.

Their mission, to stop the invaders from taking the base, their survival...secondary. With more than half their numbers already killed or consumed they fought with a ferocity that only those who had survived this long could possess.

Their world had gone from sunshine and rainbow unicorns to buckets of blood and mayhem in just a few short months and they had survived, but was it enough against what was now trying to destroy them?

One Nation is the seventh installment in the bestselling Five Roads to Texas saga a Phalanx Press collaboration.

Grab a weapon and fight.

This is the story of Ian's remarkable group endurance in the face of the Infected, the Iranians, the bikers, the military and even, at times, himself. Non stop, pretty literally, fighting action and just about the scariest of scenarios written, with the fear balanced only by the astonishing will to go on, to survive and save others. The author was previously unknown to me, but will not stay so any longer: he had the ability to breathe life into his characters with few words and effortless ease. In this he is ably assisted by the excellent Andrew B.Wehrlen, his narration fast, involving, and carrying the tension of the events along with the personalities of the protagonists. As ever, a fine performance.

A superbly innovative story, well told, and recommended to anyone who enjoys zombie apocalypse tales and the possible breakdown of morality when societal norms are removed. And the courage of a few despite overwhelming odds against them. I was very fortunate in being free!y gifted with a complimentary copy of One Nation by the rights holder, at my request, via Audiobook Boom. Thank you very much.

Fantastic And Fast Paced

I really enjoyed this well written audiobook, it was fast paced, exciting and action packed from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed getting to know each of the likeable characters. I also enjoyed the excellent narration by Andrew B. Wehrien.
I was given a free copy of this book to give an impartial and objective review.
