About this listen
When a modern princess falls in love with her bodyguard, a royal fairy tale turns dangerous.
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess. Flicka von Hannover lived an enchanted life. She jetted around Europe staging charity events with friends, had married a handsome prince in the most spectacular royal wedding of the 21st century, and should have lived happily ever after.
But then she found the handsome prince in bed with a duchess. And then a coffee shop barista. And then her own goddamn secretary.
Finally, the prince did the unthinkable, and the beautiful princess ran away.
The prince didn’t want to let her go. He couldn’t take his throne without her and sent henchmen to take her back to the castle. Her worried royal brother sent people to look for her, too.
The prince threatened her. He said that if the princess contacted her brother or any of her friends for help, he would kill her brother and her brother’s new, pregnant wife.
So the princess ran to the only person she could trust, a man who was frankly not a handsome prince.
Dieter Schwarz had been Flicka’s bodyguard for years. He had protected her from assassins, kidnappers, and high school dates who got too handsy after a few drinks. He was a sharp-witted, sharp-jawed, hard-muscled former Swiss special forces operator who had started his own private security firm, Rogue Security, and had no past that he spoke of.
No one knew that he had been her first lover and broken her heart, but he's the only one she can trust now.

Splendid Story
The combination of outstanding writing and stellar narration made Flicka's story a fantastic listen. Once more, Blair Babylon blew me away with her remarkable characters who demonstrate genuine emotional depth. The storyline is deliciously captivating, highly engaging, with a perfect balance of suspense and steam. There is enough deceit and intrigue to keep you speculating. As for the romance, Flicka and her Dieter's connection is passionate, potent, irresistible, and quite sensual, one that will be impossible to deny.
Superb performances by Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers! The characters' personalities, intensity, and emotions were flawlessly portrayed. Once upon a Time, the first book in the Runaway Princess was utterly riveting, one I'm strongly recommending.

You’ll love this like a fairytale
Book 1 in a new series by Blair Babylon. You will be glued to this stoy right till the end . There are lots of twists and turns . Blair wrote a Well written stoy and leaves you wanting more . Both the characters are very different but they are also very well Written. You do see other characters from previous stories.
Flicka is not your average lady who belongs in a Royal family. Flicka has always been a force unto herself – strong-willed, determined, strong but this time you see her soft side . You get to see Flicka’s POV. Grab it and see a great story
Both Jason Clarke and Lucy Rivers was fantastic. Love how both performers did Justice to this stoy. They did the tones for the characters great. They drag you right into the stoy . You feel like your right beside the hero and heroine

An Unmissable Start To This Long Awaited Series!👑
Once upon a Time
Billionaires in Disguise: Flicka (Runaway Princess, Book 1)
Audiobook 🎧
By: Blair Babylon
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Lucy Rivers
Length: 7 hrs and 25 mins
This was an absolutely unmissable start to Flicka's series. It's full of misunderstandings & heartbreak, in the past & present, but the current betrayals & threats are truly horrifying!😭😡 Learning all of the hidden backstory was like peeling blinkers from my eyes, although Maxence remains an enigma! I loved all of the insights we were gifted.🙏
This is a deep & complex storyline that is brought to life quite well by the narrator's. I preferred the males acting, personally.👍 I found the female a bit monotonal until nearer the end but then her voice seemed to come alive more!💕
I'm really exciting to continue the series. The depth of characters & storytelling is just so darn good & exciting!🌟💥

Blair Babylon never disappoints!
This is the first of the stories about Flicka, and will absorb you completely into these characters. The narrators embody the characters completely, bringing them totally to life.
The twists and turns are fantastic, and the story has the perfect balance of suspense and steaminess. Don't put it on the car with the kids in the backseat!!
I loved every second, and can't wait for the next in the set!

Good book but……
I enjoyed this book but it had no ending you have to buy the next in the series. I really do not like that when it happens you get a free book and end up paying a fortune to read to read the rest.
