Summary
Jess and Mason begin their search for Faison and find themselves in a world where everything is turned upside down. Jess' relationship with Lucifer takes a turn she didn't expect, which prompts God to give her a mission she's not sure she'll survive.
This series is intended for a mature audience. Recommended for ages 17 and older due to sexual situations and adult themes.
If I were to use the movie rating system, I would rate this series an R.

Fantastic
The story is gripping, the writing is evocative, and the narrator is clear.
I've listened to the series back to back. I can't say better than that.

Just ok, but free
The book is fine. No spice, but they finally did it, it's just fade to black 😩
Had to listen to is at 3x speed because it bored me.
The entire God versus Lucifer thing was not as fun as I thought. It's becoming more more evangelical, similar to a sermon in church, I stead of fun novel.
The book will be great for some but not for me.
Free on KU with audio book included.
Great narration btw.

book 1 brilliant! book 2, cringe!
So... the story is good. narrator is great. but between the story, the lovey dovey stuff between jess and Mason is just so cringe and its too often. The first book was good, as the story and the attraction they had was at a good equal level. This book, I feel you get a small bit of story, then lots of the same sentences repeated about how they can't keep their hands off each other. "incorrigible" has been said probably 5000 times now, to the point the word is actually annoying. I'm trying to stick with it, as the story behind the overly cringe, can't keep my hand off him, take him to bed 5 times (staight after her first ever time) is actually good. I want to know how they beat the bad guy and how they do it. I just wish it was more like the first book as it feels like they've just added loads of the repeated lovey bits to fill out the book. it's a shame, as it's making a good story hard to finish.

Good story devolved into poorly written attempts r
The the story was interesting but the novel devolves into repetitive, poorly written and cheesy sex scenes. Endless, meandering descriptions of foreplay and intercourse in manner written for children, which begs the question of why the author chose to spend so many lines and pages devoted to these sex scenes.
The romance between the main characters is written in a manner reminiscent of Twilight, a series of novels known for their appalling prose and descriptions.
The love story between the main characters is so repetitive and poorly written that it detracts from the plot. Overall there isn't much plot development for the size of novel, which is disappointing as the overarching plot was the reason for listening to this series of novels.

Cringe
Have listened to the 3 books so far . the underlying story is interesting but it's padded out with the same repetitive ,over the top, fake romance the second book was full of . it's just so cringe
