Summary
I needed you. I needed you to tell me I was beautiful. I needed you to tell me it was all going to be okay. I needed you to be with me. To love me. To protect me. I needed you - but the sad thing is you didn't need me.
You didn't want me. You never cared about me. And when you gave up on me, I gave up on me, too. I lost myself because I found all my self-worth in you. And when you left me, I left myself, too.
Now I'm left wondering, could I come back for me?

emotions overflowing!!
Don't think that just because this book is not long, it won't tug your heartstrings and leave you weeping. This book was well written, the narration brings it to life. Amanda Stribling just brought tears to my eyes with the narration. Oh wow. This is such a fabulous listen..

Beautifully Tragic
Dimah's dreams finally come true. The boy she adores asks her to prom. Before she knows it, her dream becomes a nightmare. If that's not bad enough, she gets constantly humiliated and bullied at school. Rather than stand up for herself and tell the truth, she chooses to fade into the shadows. Until a boy comes into her life and changes everything.
I really felt for Dimah. I can't explain how much this story hit for me. It hurts me so much that things like this happen and nobody does anything about it. There was a problem I had with this book. A person of authority bought into the gossip and completely went out of line. I'd have liked to have saw something done about that. Maybe it did and I missed it. I don't want to say too much. While this is a short read, I still feel it's well worth the read.
I can't remember the boy's name, but I wish there were more people like him in the world. The ones that see somebody who's broken and needs somebody. Somebody who's willing to help somebody out of the dark hole we find ourselves in and let them know it's okay and that they aren't alone. I feel if more people like that exist, things might be different. I related very much to Dimah. I wasn't bullied, but I was shamed a lot for things I did and things people thought I did and didn't.
This book was narrated by Amanda Stribling. She did a fantastic job. I knew that she would. She narrated The Kings of Linwood trilogy. She did an amazing job with that as well. I'm shocked she was able to keep her emotion so controlled with this book. It impressed me. I have a feeling it wasn't too easy behind the scenes. Who knows?
I thought this book was going to be very cringy when I first came across it. I loved the cover though. Also, if I'm being honest, I'm a sucker for happily ever after type books. No matter how goofy they are. It just gives one hope on the world in all honesty. This is heavy. It may be triggering to some. It is very beautifully written. I loved the special part in the end as well. It was encouraging.

Not the End
I’m not sure how to write a review for this book. There is so much pain and inner turmoil in this book that had me crying for this girl. She is finally able to find her strength and value but the pain she had to endure is devastating. All in all it brought out my emotions so definitely worth the four stars. I am glad that there is a happy for now ending as well.

Stay strong!
What a wonderful story of standing up for yourself and figuring out who you are. A young lady loses a long time friend who, come to find out, she didn’t need as a friend anyway. Rumors were spread and finally a strong person stands with her showing her she does have strength. Narration was great. I recommend this book.

Not an easy subject but well handled and narrated
Considering the subject matter of this story I'm not sure that saying I enjoyed it feels right. But in a way I did enjoy it. It kept me engaged, I wanted to know what was going to happen, how it was all going to work out. The characters are so well written I really felt for her and what she went through. The way the story is set up (you'll understand what I mean when you listen) works really well. It is not at all an easy subject to tackle but I feel it was handled sensitively and with a lot of understanding for the character.
Amanda Stribling does an awesome job with the narration, enabling me to just relax and get sucked into the story.

Little powerhouse
Don't be fooled by the length of this book Gianna Gabriela packed some seriously powerful, tragic, compelling, heart wrenching, emotional train ride into this story.
I believe it is a story for the school syllabus! every young person should read this story! ... every adult should read this story!
kudos to this very talented Author.
Amanda Stribling's raw emotion and characterisation could not have been more perfect!

Emotional Novella
Not The End By Gianna Gabriela is an emotional young adult novella that I listened to on audio narrated by Amanda Stribling.
This is the first book of Gianna’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. The book was not what I expected from the blurb given. I cannot wait for the next book in the series Not The Same to be released on audible. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone.
Amanda did an amazing job on the narration. She really brought the story to life.

🎧Review for Audiobook Obsession 🎧
I was emotionally drained after finishing this heart wrenching story and I’m having a real struggle butting into words my feelings for what this young lady endured. High school is suppose to be a learning experience, not a place to be bullied, the Prom a right of passage not a night to be demoralized, health professionals there to assist, guide, help you heal not criticize.
Kudos to the author for putting into words this subject that I needs to be voiced and Amanda for doing an excellent job in its narration.

Inspiring and realistic
You never know what a person is going through, and Gianna Gabriella captures the essence of a teenage girl and how true this can be. Dimah is thrilled when her childhood friend turned school heartthrob invites her to the prom. But what happens next changes her life. Aron, the new man on campus sees her for the person she is, and not for the person she has changed to since her prom experience. Gabriela manages to pack so much into this novella, with teenage sexual abuse, bullying and the loss of self confidence. She weaves the story so that we can easily relate to Dimah and what she is going through, the type of people she has to deal with and her transformation. Aron is that boy we all look for in high school, doesn't follow the crowd and makes his own decision. It's a read full of feels and is a great listen.
Amanda Stribling has the perfect voice for new adult listens and she nails this book. Between her incredible voices, she narrows in on the emotional feel that Dimah has. She pulls us in, lets us live it and enjoy the story.

Loved it
Bullying is never a joke. This book brings to life those nasty people who try to get people down; but it also brings to life a strong young girl who finally moves forward from a horrific experience. Amanda did a fabulous job at narration
