Warm, tough, humorous and practical

Really enjoyed this. The narrator conveys Dan John's earthy wisdom and sardonic wit perfectly. I laughed aloud many times. His advice on training is very applicable too. I recommend it!

Excellent

Probably the best book I’ve ever listened to. Full of personal stories that are packed full of useful information , I wish I’d come across it years ago.

The book I should have read long ago..

I wished I read the book long ago before I started working out and have my mind cluttered with so many “training philosophies”. Dan’s insight into training and life is inspiring. It’s written from the heart.
