About this listen
So, what gives me, Tony Smart, the power and strength to guide you through this audiobook? The guidelines and ideas in this audiobook are a result of my extensive project management experience. I have successfully managed, implemented, and delivered countless projects, including complex global infrastructure-based projects. As a project manager, I have overseen new and modification projects utilizing on-shore and offshore resources and third parties. Thanks to over 25 years of project management experience, I have extensive knowledge covering the entire life cycle of a project, including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects delivering business value.
I began my project management career as a team leader progressing to project manager. I have managed small and large scale projects with multi-million-pound transition budgets. I will confidently guide you through the fundamentals of successful project management. I have full project management qualifications from both the Project Management Institute and a Prince2.
My 25-years of project management experience covers complex projects for both private and public sector clients. I am proud to be known as a project manager with a solid pedigree to match. The best compliment I have received regarding my ability to share my knowledge is that I give common sense ideas and concepts culled from my "down-to-earth" experience befitting my decades of project management practice. I am proud to say that I have been at the coalface of project management, and now I want to impart my wealth of knowledge to you, the listener of this audiobook, looking to seek useful and practical help in the realm of project management.

Everything you need to learn project management
I recommend this practical guide, and it's tools and techniques to all people who want to learn or renew their knowledge about project process and project management. It is very effective because the author leads you through each step of the project planning, from beginning to closing.

Very Good for Team Motivation
There are many books about project management, but they mostly provide theoretical knowledge. What is really needed for a project to be successful is that the project manager has the right skills. Tips and advice for motivating a project team is the best part of the book. Tony Smart gave me the knowledge I needed to create effective teams and deliver a successful project right on time.

An excellent book for a new Project Manager
This is an excellent book for someone new to project management. It lays out the process in logical steps which are easy to follow. The chapters are well structured and the narrator makes it interesting.
Looking forward to applying what I have learnt into my new role.

This audiobook is an ideal PM resource
This is NOT for people who want to be true Project Managers with a PMP after their name. This is for the rest of us who often have to wear the PM hat for smaller projects. This is the minimum 20% that I need for 80% of my projects (80/20) rule and it's just the right amount of content.

A great PM 101 guide!
The author helped me to understand the importance of leadership in project completion and explained that people are the core for success. A good project manager does not have to have exceptional knowledge about specific project subject, but he has to have exceptional skills to inspire his team and deliver the project successfully.

Ready For Anything!
I like the author's approach to taking and practicing baby steps in the project process first. If we mastered the techniques with small tasks, we will be ready and confident to use our theoretical and practical knowledge into completing larger tasks with a minimum of mistakes.
