About this listen
Need for Speed is the continuation of Solo and Panther’s story and should only be heard after book one, Danger Zone.
They train to serve their country.
They strive to be the best.
But only a select few can be....
The Elite
Mateo Morgan
Call Sign: Solo
Reckless, arrogant, and bold, Solo is as known in the US Navy for his bad-boy reputation as he is for his skills as a fighter pilot. It’s a surprise to his peers, then, when he’s chosen to train and compete at the most prestigious naval aviation academy in the world.
Mission Rules:
1. Kick everyone’s ass.
2. Do whatever it takes to win.
3. Do your best to distract the competition.
4. Especially when that competition is a gorgeous blue-eyed perfectionist who makes your blood run hot.
Grant Hughes
Call Sign: Panther
Disciplined, smart, and confident, Panther can’t afford not to play by the rules. As the son of a top Navy commander, all eyes are on him, and being anything less than number one is unacceptable.
Mission Rules:
1. Keep it safe in the air.
2. Prove you’re more than Commander Hughes’s son.
3. No distractions. Stay focused.
4. Don’t fall for your competition - especially not the rebellious heartbreaker with lips made for sinning.
In the heat of the hot California sun, tempers flare and desires ignite as Solo and Panther try to resist their attraction while fighting to be number one.
With passion this intense, the question remains: Who’s gonna come out on top?

Gripping!!
This is the second installment in this fast paced series!!
I was absolutely ecstatic when the author released a second book in this series!
The narrators performed an epic narration.
The characters were relatable and amazing as always.
Can't wait to sink my teeth in the next in this trilogy.

These men, this story, these NARRATORS! My gosh. It’s hotter than the surface of the sun in here.
I was left on the edge of my seat in book one, dropped into a plummet to Earth in book two, and now things are looking like they’re about to shaken up in the best possible way.
Seeing Grant’s daddy lighten up, seeing the change in Panther & Solo, it’s just all so good.
I can’t wait to read the next!

Time for some spice!
********************
The only thing I would regret tomorrow morning is if I wake up and you weren’t there.
********************
After the push and shove of book 1, Panther and Solo finally ignite. We pick up where Book 1 finishes and Solo is forced to face the fact he has real feelings for Panther and what started as lust soon turns into more. This book is all about secret trysts and stolen moments. There’s more flying antics and partying, finishing with a pivotal moment in their relationship.
Christian and Aiden continue to bring it with their narration. At times I almost wondered if it had been recorded in duet because Christian’s voice for Panther was akin to Aiden’s. As well as some serious heat these two voice actors give us emotion after emotion, and you can’t help but be drawn into Solo and Panther’s world.
The perfect middle to this trilogy which I smashed through, not wanting it to end.
Brooke and Ella easily balance all the scorching spice with the heartfelt emotions.

Still hooked!
This is the second audiobook in the Elite series and I'm still hooked on Solo and Panther's story! I love Solo and Panther individually and together, and the story just gets better and better. I can't wait for the next audiobook!

I Got The Need For Speed
As the line goes...I got the need for speed! And boy do we speed up this book!
After that shocking ending to book 1, there was no doubt I needed to know things would go up after. We pick right where we left off and it's a emotional punch this book.
We get to dig deeper into Solo and Panther as individuals but also see their relationship together grow from what was a mural attraction to so much more.
As my friend Stacey said I needed to pop this quote from myself into my review - animosity who? And it's true, Panther and Solo don't have the best footing back in Danger Zone but as soon as tough circumstances pull them closer it's like where was those "push you away" feelings in the first place!
I loved Need For Speed for the development, the steam and most of all the smiles. I breezed through it and smiled so much, especially with that pleasent ending that has me dying to conclude Panther and Solo's story.
They're both very unique characters and shouldn't work together so well but their passion ties them together. Most of all they push each other to be the best and step back when needed to. They read each other well and what more could you need from a partner.
Along with all that! I loved the secondary characters and how they played parts once again bringing the whole world to life and adding to the emotional and humour in the story!
Brooke and Ella have this writing gig down to a T and never end to still surprise me with their stories and for that I am forever fan and reader. Bring on Classified!!

I need more from The Elite
I'm almost certain that I liked this more than book 1. I liked how the relationship of the physical and friendly variety both developed and deepened and the cliffhanger was a lot nicer than the last one that's for sure. I both can't wait for book 3 and don't want it to finish already because I really this crew, especially Mateo and Grant. I volunteered to listen to a complimentary copy of this title. All opinions are my own.

Sizzling
Part 2 of this scintillating tale narrated by champion narrators Fox and Snow. Everything you'd want from a follow on.
Well done Audible another gem, but I'm not amused to find this story is in 3 parts with the final part not available yet!
No HEA or HFN ending in this book! You must buy Book 3.

Brilliant storytelling with top quality narration
This book is just as good as the first
It picks up where the first in the trilogy leaves off and this book ends of a little bit of a cliffhanger as well (albeit not as big as the first one)
These books are excellently written and there was interesting character development in this book. I feel like we get to know their thought processes better and empathise with them.
I'm excited to see how this series concludes in book 3 - I would definitely recommend!

I’m hooked!
The cliffhanger ending of book 1 definitely made me want to ignore all the rest of my reading plans and get right to book 2, so that’s exactly what I did. Once again the narration is superb! This time we get a bit more of a slow burn story between Panther and Solo, with a sprinkling of hurt/comfort trope but with the same great banter their characters had in book 1. The chemistry between them is still scorching, but book 2 allows for their budding relationship to build and develop a bit more, and leads directly into book 3!

3rd time around
Having discovered this series last year, this is my 3rd time listening to it. And even though it is 3rd time, I still love it as much as I did the first. ❤️❤️❤️
