Sure, everybody could use a little extra cash.

Someone thought so.
Someone is going to prison.
When money is stolen from several businesses on Main Street in Cottonwood Springs, Brigid and Sheriff Davis work together to find the culprit, but are they too late? There’s a frustrating lack of suspects and the clock is ticking, or maybe time just ran out.
Don’t miss number 11 in the popular Cottonwood Springs Cozy Mystery Series by a USA Today best-selling author. As always, plenty of dogs and recipes!

A fun small town mystery
I enjoyed this book. It is a nice clean little mystery with no dead bodies. The time just flew by while listening to it and before you knew it the story had ended and the narrator was telling you how to make some of the food in the book. The characters were like able and the story did jump from character to character as you found out why they had a reason to be pulling of the robberies, which just left you to work it out.
Brigid and Sheriff Davis are working on a secret case. It seems someone is breaking into one or two business at night and stealing money hidden in lock boxes. In order to catch the thief they decide to keep it quiet and catch the perpetrator in the act. With no clues left behind and the appearance of an inside job, they will have to set up a stake out because questions the local business owners and the town's people struggling for money is leading them no where. Can they catch the thief in the act?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job with the many voices need in the story.
