Summary
Former Delta operator Myles Simms doesn’t know when to quit. The concept so foreign to him that he can’t give up on Delilah Watts, a woman he’s never met—a woman who might be the enemy—yet he’s compelled to save her.
Intel Specialist Delilah Watts never imagined sending an email would be deadly. Kidnapped and left to die, yet she regrets nothing. She’d blow the whistle over and over again if it meant one life was saved—unfortunately, it just wouldn’t be hers.
A man on the search.
A woman in need of a hero.
A race against time...

SebYo as Myles 😍
I’ll be the first to admit that SebYo hasn’t been my go to narrator lately. But I really liked him as Myles. His gruff attitude worked well in this race across South America!!
Once again Janine nailed her role. She was perfect as Delilah. She was strong yet still soft. I love that she was so open to trust & becoming friends with all the Team wives! The perfect heroine :)
…I have a feeling that Kevin’s story will be explosive!

Capital H.O.T.
I loved Myles in audio even more than I loved reading his book. Helped in no small part by the amazing narrators who brought the characters to life.
Of all the Blue team so far he hasn’t been the most in your face and we really haven’t spent that much time getting to know him other than he is a great leader and Owen called him bossy.
Despite this I found it so easy to fall for his charms. Sebastian Yorke played this to perfection and I swooned at the gruff depth of his voice and how he really made the listener feel the emotions and “feels@ he had for Delilah. I also particularly loved how, despite the high drama of this exciting thrill filled suspenseful story, the falling in love part was so easy.
Delilah wasn’t high drama in the slightest, and suited Myles down to the ground. She appreciated rather than railed against his protective nature and quickly grasped what he meant to her and what she meant to him without being a total walkover. Her nature was recognised and nurtured rather than trodden all over and she grew in confidence because of this which was done most excellently by Janine Granda. She managed to get totally on point the range between a woman truly and desperately scared for her life, to the eminently more comfortable and confident woman who word vomited all over Rayne and the girl gang.
Can I shout out to the unmentionable scenes….is it just me or has RE taken things up a notch in this book. She’s definitely hinted at it but I’m pretty sure never actually gone THERE before!!! And hearing it vs reading it brought this girls Lily white cheeks some strong colour ☺️
Interactions with the rest of the Blue team were totally on point as usual and I didn’t think it was possible to fall more in love with Zane, but yet I did.
Can I admit to being thrilled Delilah greeted him as she did though…it’s been a long time coming. I feel like the ongoing storyline from the last few books was wrapped up here, but in her usual stealthy skilled way, RE has woven in her next dramatic storyline that I feel will take us on another heart pounding journey with the badass brigade. This one has been quietly building for a while and I’m eager to see where it goes.
Lovely to see so many of the Operation Alpha characters in this book too, it’s not often Ghost and his team get brought in, not en masse and certainly not the ladies too. I felt they were reflected and portrayed true to the Susan Stoker characterisation too
Unlike Myles, who was a background character in a lot of the Blue books so far, Kevin has been more front and centre throughout (Meat ;) ) and I can’t wait for his and Layla’s book coming up in audio too.
