Summary

He will find her no matter what. As a blue-blooded captain of the Nighthawk Guard, his senses are keener than most. Some think that he's indestructible. But once he finds the elusive Mercury, what will he do with her? It's his duty to turn her in; she's a notorious spy and traitor. But after one stolen moment, he can't forget the feel of her in his arms, the taste of her, or the sharp sting of betrayal as she slipped off into the night. Little does Mercury know, no one hunts better than the Nighthawk. And his greatest revenge will be to leave her begging for his touch….

Critic reviews

"Sensuous memories and unfulfilled desires help build tension between the leads, and fans will enjoy the expansion of McMaster's detailed setting." ( Publishers Weekly)

Brilliant!!!

I just love this series and I loved learning more about Mercury and Jasper Lynch! They had real strong chemistry together and I love how he (unknowingly as he didn't learn he had Mercury working with him 'til very near the end!) changed Mercury's perceptions of Blue Bloods, showed her they weren't all bad! yes there are bad elements among them but there are good ones too like Lynch and his men, plus Barron's and others!
I loved learning more about Mercury and how she chose a new path in the end. Still the same cause but a new way to fight for it! This book had me hooked right from the start and I can't wait to see who's next for a book! There are still a few I wanna see get their own books and that now includes Lynch's top people, Garratt, Perry and Byrnes!
