Wonderful worldbuilding.
A sweet paranormal romance with a fast-paced plot, wonderful worldbuilding, and a lot of twists. Top marks for Kristen Saburn, the narrator.

Cozy read
I'm one of those readers who want cozy spooky stories in the fall and this book is a good example for that type of book. There is an underlying mystery but the romance is the major story. While it is part of a series, I read this as a standalone with no issues.
Narration was clear and easy to listen to and each character had a distinct voice and tone.
No implied or on-page adult activity.
