Newly wed, new mystery

I enjoyed this book. I am not so sure it had as many suspects as the rest of the books in this series but it was still good and I didn't see the killer coming. The book starts with the murder and then you get introduced to all the characters, including the suspects but the actually investigation and murder doesn't happen until there is about two hours left in the story. This gives Brigid and Linc chance to enjoy some of there honeymoon and the local dishes before they start to investigate. Despite the mystery not taking place in Cottonwood Springs, Dianne still manages to include a clever and helpful dog into.the mystery. I really like the characters and that is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to the series, Linc is like a big kid in this one and like Brigid he had me rolling my eyes at him too.
Brigid and Linc are on there honeymoon, so what better way to enjoy it for amateur sleuth Brigid than to investigate a mystery? Well okay she could have done without it being a murder but there is no way she is going to stand on the side lines and let an innocent women go to jail. Aided by a ex k9 officer, Brigid and Linc investigate a cheating tour guides death. Could one of his lovers have killed him?
I liked the narrator and hope she plans to stick with the series as now I have heard her as Brigid I can't imagine any one else doing a better job
