About this listen
Finding a body in an alleyway when you are grounded is not a good idea. Especially if you are the town’s usual suspect for any mischief or mayhem.
Teen rebel Lucas Krymanski is in trouble again, and this time, it’s big time!
Only the town’s amateur sleuth librarian Kelly Armello believes Lucas is innocent. She even fears there’s darker schemes afoot - hidden and horrible conspiracies seething below the surface.
Can Kelly convince officer Troy Kennedy that the Krymanski boy is not to blame, or will the real killer slip through the net unseen and unpunished? Is there more to this unlikely death than meets the eye?
Join Kelly Armello in her first small-town cozy mystery and find out.

Never underestimate the town librarian!
This is the kind of cozy that I love! It has all the elements. A little romance, a little family, and a lot of mystery all rolled up in to a fantastic story. Lucas is suspected of a murder he did not commit. After all, finding the body doesn't mean you are guilty. But there are dangerous people that will do whatever it takes to keep themselves safe. Fortunately, these people don't know Kelly Armello, the town librarian. She will do what it takes to find out the truth. With the help of police officer Troy Kennedy and some quirky, but helpful witnesses, this proves to be a case that can find a resolution! And what a surprise it is!
Leonor A Woodward brings her talents to this fun, quick listen and made my day with this book. She brought each character the perfect personality and her storytelling is spot on! I really enjoyed this!

Even the dead wear masks on Halloween...
The skeleton of the story was quite promising, but the flesh was weaker than I'd have liked it to be. This just didn't have the punch I like to see in a murder mystery. It was too easy; too quickly tied up with a bow on top. I'm sure my review seems rather cryptic but I don't like to give too much away; read or listen to the story and make up your own mind. As they say, one man's meat is another man's poison.

Awesome Listen!
Murder Wears a Mask by Donna Doyle is great listen. I loved how the author wrote a clean cozy mystery that had vivid imagery and endearing characters. This short listen was so well narrated by Leonor A. Woodworth. She brought the characters to life with her voice and inflicted the right emotions. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.
