Summary
The next stand-alone installment in the electrifying Immortals After Dark series by number one New York Times best-selling author Kresley Cole. Venture deeper into the lore, the fierce realm of the immortals - if you dare....
Tormented in unimaginable ways.
Coming off torture at the hands of his warlock captors, Munro MacRieve never expected to find his mate or to lose her just as abruptly. Driven to desperation, the ruthless warrior uses his enemies’ own powers to reunite with her - in the distant past.
Stolen from her time.
When a crazed werewolf crashes her wedding, Kereny “Ren” Codrina does what any cunning huntress would do: She captures him. Yet she finds herself softening toward the wounded beast - until he turns the tables and forces her into an incomprehensible future.
Can a human and an immortal unite in order to survive?
As danger mounts, Munro will do anything to make her undying, even sell his soul to an evil sorceress. But first he must convince his fiery mate that she belongs with him. If seduction means her survival, Munro will use every weapon in his arsenal to possess her - forever.

Brilliant book by Kresley Cole and Robert Petkoff is amazing as usual. So many older characters are in this book and hearing Robert voice them all really helps set the scene :)

Brilliant story - accent was a bit heavy
Massive Kresley fan, loved the story and the length of the audiobook. The narrator was really good but his Scottish accent was a teensy bit ‘heavy’ and he rolled those ‘r’s for days…..Scots don’t rrrrrrrrroll everrrrrrrry rrrrrrr like a bike engine starting up, sometimes less is more xo

Amazing book with brilliant narration!
Munro was so worth the wait. Kresley dragged me back into the world of the Lore and it was like I had never left. Without a doubt, I laughed, got teary eyed (yes, a few times) and finished the book with a feeling of contentment. Like every other IAD couple, Ren and Munro must overcome their own obstacles but I love how it always comes together in the end.
Munro picks up right up from the ending of MacRieve and it was full of surprises. Ren was not what I expected, especially not since she's from the past, but she was a brilliant character. She is fierce, loyal and knows how to wield a sword like the badass she is. As for Munro, I have loved him from way back when, when he was first mentioned in the series with his twin brother. While I love all of the species in IAD, the Lykae hold a special place in my heart.
The best part? Seeing everyone again. Of course Nix made her crazy appearances as did Lothaire and Ellie (those two are the best), as well as Kristoff and Desh. I love Desh. I will throw hands if he doesn't get his own book!
I received an e-ARC of Munro but also listened to the audiobook when it released. Robert Petkoff is a brilliant narrator and I found I got more emotional over things than I did when I read the book. I would love to divulge more information, but I vowed to keep this a spoiler free review. Lets just say there is a cuteness overload and when Munro holds the thingies after the thingy? Yeah. I LOVED that, and you will too when you read it!
Munro was an amazing addition to the series and I can't wait for more in the future!

Omg, I'm so happy that Kresley released the book.
Like all her books, this is one of my favourites.
Munro is a werewolf who was captured by a group of warlocks, who are hell-bent on him making newling, but, he refuses... However, The warlocks have something to change the tide. His mate... Which forces Munro to do the unimaginable, however, things don't go according to plan and in the end, his mate perishes.
Unable to live without his mate he goes back in time.
Kereny aka Ren, is a hunter fighting to protect mortals from the 'monsters' immortals. She has a purpose and she never loses sight of it. So it is safe to say that she loathed Munro from the first meeting especially on her wedding day and especially when he forces her to the future hell-bent on making her immortal a thing that she considers a monster.
I loved the world-building and dynamic of the characters and how they acted, I loved how their relationship developed and the undeniable attraction. Though I'm not going to lie there were times I wasn't keen on Munro, however that changed when we read about his past. Both of them had experienced terrible losses and were both willing to make sacrifices.
It's defiantly worth a read.
But honestly, my favourite parts are from Lothaire and Nix especially when two things were confirmed and OMG, I want a book on them NOW...
I can honestly say this book has made me go into a reading slump because it was so good, I just hope Kresley Cole keeps writing because honestly, she is my all-time favourite author.

KC's long awaited comeback!
It was so entertaining to be immersed into the Lore once again. Kresley Cole's characters have a soft spot in my heart and this story definitely appealed to that (we get to see many fan favourites). This narration was done very well - overall, very happy with this audiobook.

Well worth the wait
I love the whole series but it had been getting a little cyclical- this was totally refreshing and yet tied perfectly in with the previous stories.
The characters have fantastic backstories, I definitely want more about the Night War and circus, and it definitely left me wondering a lot if there would be a HEA for them or what it would look like.
My only complaint- I have to wait for the next one!

What a world
Ohhhh Kresley.... what a beautiful world you have created. I loved it! One cannot get enough.
Once again, a strong female character. such a worthy mate for our beloved Munro.
I love how old and new characters interact, how the stories intertwine with each other. What is not to like!!
And Robert Petkoff, such an artist. His versatile change of accents takes my breath away every time. I just can’t not imagine other person giving voice to these characters... chef kiss. magnific.
