About this listen

Between November 1966 and December 1967, the small Appalachian town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, was stalked and harassed by a terrifying entity dubbed the Mothman. The sightings came to an abrupt—and suspicious—end after the bridge that connected Point Pleasant to Ohio collapsed, killing 46 people.

Over a half a century has passed since the tragedy in Point Pleasant when Billy Slater and his mom move to the small town, blissfully unaware of the horrific things that have cast a dark cloud over the town to this very day.

But then, in one sudden gust of unimaginable horror, the close-knit community of Point Pleasant is thrust back into the same madness, chaos, and nerve-shredding fear they suffered 55 years earlier. Inhuman screeches erupt in the night, glowing red eyes appear in the darkness, and the town is forced to face their demons once again.

But this time, things are different. Evolution is inevitable.

The Mothman has returned.

Cryptid horror at its finest

Scott Donnelly was awesome enough to send me a copy of his latest book in audio, 'Mothman: Return to Point Pleasant' and I'm feeling like I've won the lottery.

In the 60s the small town of Point Pleasant was terrorised by a horrific entity called 'The Mothman'. The Terror came to pass after the bridge connecting Point Pleasant to Ohio collapsed, claiming the lives of forty-six people.

The story ignites again after 55 years when Billy Slater and his mom move to Point Pleasant without having any knowledge of the tragic events that took place there in the past.

The community of Point Pleasant descends into chaos and sheer terror once again. But this time the horror is amplified. This time evolution is inevitable.

Nights are filled with terror , glowing red eyes appear in the darkness, and the town of Point Pleasant is about to meet its doom.

The MOTHMAN is back and If you are looking for a book that will keep your blood pumping through your vains at the highest possible rate then this one is for you.

If you want layers upon layers of horror, suspense and mystery, then you are at the right place. Cryptid horror at its finest as the author manages to craft a terrific and terrifying story.

I tell you folks, this is one hell of a ride, especially if you love a good Cryptid themed horror mystery.
The author builds the characters in such a unique way that serve this dark tale perfectly and keeps the tension from start to finale.

I've finished this in two sittings and I couldn't recommend it enough. I knew I was in good hands with this story as I loved The author's previous work in Whool, Killer Scarecrow, Cheater cheater and Of a Mad Brain.
