Summary
This audio edition is brilliantly and hilariously read by Sally Phillips, known for her performances in Bridget Jones's Diary and Smack the Pony.
More Confessions of a Forty-Something F##k Up: the laugh-out-loud sequel to the hilarious, WTF AM I DOING NOW?! runaway bestseller!
'The new Bridget Jones for our times' – Celia Walden, Telegraph
There is no magical land you finally arrive at where everything is figured out, fixed and sorted. Life, like us, is a sum of moving parts, and if we’re lucky, we get to keep f**king up, figuring it out and laughing in the face of it all.
Nell’s back. Her life still isn’t going to plan. And she’s still asking the big questions and getting none of the answers. Like, for example:
1. Why is falling in love so easy, but staying in love so hard?
2. What do you do when your friendships are put to the ultimate test?
3. Can we ever really live in the moment and leave the past behind?
4. When everything goes tits up, do you fall apart or jump on a plane to LA with Cricket (an eighty-something widow and your BFF)?
5. And when all else fails, will celebrity-scented candles, smashed avocados and Instagram filters save us?*
In this hilarious, un-put-downable follow-up to the bestselling Confessions of a Forty-Something F##k Up, now the basis for the major TV series, Not Dead Yet, there are laugh-out-loud lessons to be learned, truths to be told, adventures to go on and joys to discover. But first, Nell has some more confessions . . .

Fell in love with the first book and the second was a cherry on top!!
A modern day bridget Jones is a true reflection. It's bloody magical and I will keep everything crossed there is more. The narrator has a lovely voice and can do lots of accents perfectly. Dream team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Equal parts entertainment and therapy
I read the first book, which I enjoyed.
This narrated book was awesome.
Sally Phillips should narrate all books, ever.

Loved this book!
Brilliant and thought provoking. Love that it doesn’t end in the typical ‘happy ending’ but in a more reflective and thought provoking ending. Would definitely recommend.

It was a down to earth story which could be anyones. lots of women over 40 will be able to relate. It had lots of funny moments and I found myself giggling to my self a lot.

Obsessed with this story
When I found out there was a sequel I had to download it. I listened to it in two days. Nell is a wonderful character and so relatable. The story is so unique and really heartwarming and has a lot of advice. You don’t need to read the first one as it explains the story as it goes through. BUT I would recommend because it’s amazing.

Like opening the door to an old friend.
It's so lovely to greet Nell and Cricket back into my life again. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Nell's quandaries. Cricket's advice should be bottled and available in every supermarket.
So, if you loved the first book, pop your slippers on and join in with the ups and downs of Nell and her friend's lives.
A worthy four stars and thoroughly recommended.

Loved it just as much as the first 😍
Again it made me laugh and cry. We are all just winging it and that’s ok. The stories of Nell and her friends is honest and raw. I loved these books and am secretly hoping for a third 🤞🏻. Loved it, every single line and chapter. Thank you for making me feel human again.
