Gripping adventure
Cogheart is a gripping adventure story with a good balance of jeopardy and character development. I am not sure why the narrator speaks so slowly and robotically when performing children’s books though - I had to speed it up to make it more bearable.

gripping story
Some words are mispronounced by the narrator. The story is a great sequel to the first book, Cogheart.

Good sequel, not keen on the narrator.
My 11 year old daughter loved Cogheart and was eager to start the second book in the series, Moonlocket. It's not as good as the first one, and gets off to quite a slow start - however the story does get more exciting in the second half of the book. We read the first few chapters together, but decided to buy the audio book to listen to in the car to speed things up - and that was a huge mistake. My daughter says the narrator sounds like a robot, and reads the book in a manner one would use to read picture books to toddlers. She makes the two main characters sound like they are five years old. The narrator also has a peculiar reading style, pronounces the odd word incorrectly and pauses in strange places within sentences. My daughter has decided that the audio version is simply not enjoyable and we have reverted to reading the book ourselves.

Cogheart series! ⚙️ ❤️
I love this series and this is such a thrilling book line and such a good idea to show more about Roberts background and more about him! 🌙 🌹 🔒

Great story, poor performance
I loved Cogheart and decided to purchase the audible version of Moonlocket to use whispersync for when I could not read. Sadly, I found the performance to be lacklustre. The story itself was as gripping as its predecessor.
