Perfect to the point skills for my teen
I grabbed this audiobook to help my teen with money. She got her first job and was like, what do I do with my money? I was so surprised with the question and thankful she wanted to set up her future. This book is easy for a teen to follow; I listened right along with her. I know that with this information, she will have better money skills than I ever did.

Filled with excellent personal finance tips.
"Money Skills for Modern Teens" by Prosperity Books is ideal for teens for a bunch of reasons. First off, teens can smell BS from adults when they try to act relatable but aren't. Prosperity Books did a really great job here, and the eye-rolling should be at a minimum (every parent knows what I mean). The scenarios, suggestions, and stories get to the heart of modern teens' preoccupations.
Since it's so relatable, it's a solid delivery vector for simple (for a responsible adult) personal finance advice on budgeting, banking, investing, digital tools, etc. Some of the topics are a little more adventurous, but Prosperity Books breaks them down very clearly and maintains the relatable tone throughout. It's very well-rounded.
I think this book is a gem. It should help teens (particularly older ones) start off on the right foot financially. It's got great advice that many adults could profit by heeding. I highly recommend this book, especially as a gift to a young adult who's interested in personal finance, double especially for a young adult who's not!
