Summary
Once upon a time, a brave knight rescued a young man. Unfortunately, he then spent the next few years bossing the young man around and treating him like a child.
Milo has been burying himself at Chi an Mor, hiding from the wreckage of his once promising career and running from a bad relationship that destroyed what little confidence he had. Niall, his big brother’s best friend, has been there for him that entire time. An arrogant and funny man, Niall couldn’t be any more different from the shy and occasionally stuttering Milo, which has never stopped Milo from crushing wildly on the man who saved him.
However, just as Milo makes the decision to move on from his hopeless crush, he and Niall are thrown into close contact, and for the first time ever, Niall seems to be returning his interest. But it can never work. How can it when Milo always needs rescuing?
From the best-selling author of the Mixed Messages series comes a story about a man who needs to write his own happily ever after.
This is the second book in the Finding Home series, but it can be listened to as a standalone.
Content warning: There are descriptions of domestic abuse in this book.

So good! Excellent story, narration :)
This is another book that I will relisten to time and again. One can't help loving the characters Lily Morton creates! Milo and Niall are no exception - they are a lovely couple, just as Oz and Silas were in Oz.
This is a heartwarming, funny and well told story of overcoming abuse, pain and finding one's inner strength. 9.5 hours well spent!
As always, Mr. Leslie provides a divine performance :) Great choice for the series, great choice period!

Favourite author and favourite narrator FTW
I adored Milo in Oz. His mega size crush on Niles was so obvious, as was Niles obviousness.
Here Niles suddenly realised what had been under his nose the whole time.
This is another glorious book with Joel delivering Lily's lines perfectly. It's funny and sweet, especially the first half as realisation dawns on Niles.
Gideon annoyed me and is going to have to go some in his own book to redeem his actions.
Another Damon near perfect audiobook from this combo yet again.

4.5*
Trigger warning - Domestic violence in the prologue and it's aftermath. This is the second book in the finding home series, we get Milo's backstory and it's not a happy one, it has left scars which can't be seen. Naill sees Milo at his worst and helps nurse him to health.
This is a book with hurt/comfort themes along with a very sweet romance, a couple who on the outside seem so different. It also has Lily Morton's trademark snarky banter and the ability to make me laugh which is why she is a must read for me.
I loved these characters in the first book and reading/listening to their story, their coming together despite their trust issues and how they work through insecurities just makes me love them more.

Another winner
Lily Mortin did it again by writing an amazing story and Joel Leslie did amazing work with the narration. It was a sweet story that touches all the feels. I can't wait for book 3.

The chemistry is off the charts! Wow!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 4
🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration: 5 (love Joel!)
I love Nilo! Such a great couple. The chemistry is off the charts! Wow!
I had heard only great things about Lily’s work and I must say it doesn’t disappoint! This was the first story of Lily’s I’ve read and her characters have so much heart you can’t help but love them. Milo is just wonderful and I really enjoyed watching him grow and come back to his sassy, sexy self.
The dynamics between Milo and Niall are so sweet and while Niall is a protector, he protects Milo in a way that helps him heal, grow, and eventually fly! I wasn’t a big fan of Gideon and hated him at one point for how he was deliberately provoking Milo. They have an interesting relationship and in the end, I think there is a lot more to Gideon than we’re led to believe and I can’t wait to unravel the mystery and sadness behind his eyes in Lily’s next book! She’s created a wonderful world of love, hope, and healing and I can’t wait to go back and real Oz’s story. Milo and Niall are wonderful and I hope we see more of them and Oz and Silas in all of the future Finding Home books! Loved it!!
Thanks for reading!

Milo finds his Home
This is book 2 in the Finding Home series by Lily Morto
I have really been looking forward to this and it did not disappoint.
Milo has gotten himself into an abusive relationship and does not seem to want to help himself out of it. His brother gets wind of it but because he is away on a shoot, he asks his friend Niall to check on him. He finds Milo's boyfriend both mentally and physically abusing him. Niall orders Milo to pack his things and takes him back to Chi An Mor where is estate manager.
Milo has been in love with Niall for years but he is his older brothers best freind and sometimes lover. Nothing can come of it.
I loved the character of Niall, he was so gentle with Milo and genuinely cared for and loved him.
Milo captured my heart in Oz.
This was narrated by Joel Leslie as usual and I liked it much better this time. There wasn't so much of the "Irish accent" for Oz.

Simply Brilliant!
I’ve been waiting for this book to go on audio. I found Milo intriguing specially when he started to loosen up and showed some sass in Oz’s book.
I adore Milo. His backstory quite explained the tightly wound, straight-laced version of Milo when we first met. I love how he slowly let his guard down and I enjoy his relationship with Oz, how Oz was the perfect mentor for him.
And Niall, bless his sweet gentle patient and protective heart. These two are perfect. 💜
Lily Morton has always been able to connect with her readers through her stories that’s full of witty banter, sharp humor and enough angst to strongly tug our heartstrings. This book, this series is a prime example of it. It’s just that good.
And no other narrator would have done this book any justice than Joel Leslie. His style and performance fits this book perfectly.

Read at 1.10 speed on Audible.
Another great story by Lily, humour, warmth, great characters, issues which are handled well.
We meet Milo, who was a side character in book one, he has a recent past that includes abuse.
Nial rescues Milo and rakes him to Chi an Mor in Cornwall. This is where we met them both in book one.
This book is full of humour, love and a happy ever after.
The narration is funny and light. The accents are great and make the book so much better.
Well worth the read/listen. A must have.
