Exactly what you would expect and enjoyable
I've listened to most mythology audiobooks out there now. There are massive similarities between each of them even as far back as Gilgamesh to more modern Greek and Roman.
The Mesoamericans mythology is as fascinating as the others. Gods, wars, creation, death, sacrifice, heroes. All told in new and interesting ways. Their take on life is barbaric compared to modern day civilisation but their inventions and advancements in mathematics is astounding for their era.
It's a good listen!
