About this listen

Youve Probably Discovered That Tons Of Productivity Hacks, Habits, And Systems Have One Huge Flaw: They Don't Deal With The Real Challenges Of ADHD, And You Need Something That Does

As a man you're expected to succeed and work in a society that treats you like a light switch. Just turn on, get to work, and succeed. Now. Like every neurotypical person. But you were never given the tools to succeed with ADHD. Because up until recently society never understood ADHD and how it impacts men. You just got their expectations. And when they weren't met you were likely labeled lazy or failure. Maybe you even internalized these, and started believing that's just who you were.

You don't need to just try harder, or give in to the stigma of ADHD. What you need is to replace the systems that don't work. With dynamic routines and fundamental structures compatible with your unique neurodivergent mind. And SO Much More!

Few resources take into account the real challenges of living with ADHD. Even less acknowledge the unique challenges men with ADHD face. In their career, in their relationships, and with their own self-worth. This book isn't just strategies and tactics. It's an entire mindset shift. To finally let go of the stigma of ADHD, stop feeling like a failure, and acknowledge the weight you've been carrying all along.

A Guide to Thriving for Men

This audiobook "Men with Adult ADHD: The Efficient Playbook" is a real eye-opener for me. Key themes include managing distractions, enhancing productivity, and embracing a man’s unique brain (as all this pertains to ADHD in your life). My favorite theme is embracing ADHD as a strength, captured in the quote, "Your ADHD is not a hindrance, but a different kind of power." This audiobook is perfect for men with ADHD, their partners, and anyone seeking to understand ADHD better. It's a blend of encouragement and practical strategies that can help listeners thrive in all aspects of life.

Very relatable!

A fellow ADHD sufferer's book, "Men with Adult ADHD," provides a full examination of the difficulties males encounter and useful advice for both personal and professional life. The book provides CBT tasks for introspection and change and highlights the significance of addressing underlying assumptions. It promotes a comprehensive approach by discussing relationships, sleep, food, medicine, career insights, and lifestyle practices. I highely valued the accessible tone, easily comprehensible material, and practical counsel. This book provides a kind and perceptive roadmap for navigating and accepting neurodivergence, whether you have ADHD or know someone who does.

Great Advice for Adult ADHD

In a well-organized format, this book provides a clear understanding of adult ADHD. I bought it as my son was diagnosed recently. I finally see how I can be of help and a greater support to him. I love how ADHD is not something to be overcome, but to be viewed as part of one's identity - to be embraced. There were easy-to-complete exercises to understand symptoms and how to overcome low self-worth, difficulty regulating attention, and use techniques to get to a place of fulfillment. A wonderful book for learning how to work with ADHD versus struggling against it. A must read!
