Fat, flat, flat performance

I had already read the book, and I was looking forward to revisiting it in audio form, so I looked for the one in Spanish (I'm a native speaker) thinking it would be a nice break for my brain. However, the narrator was TERRIBLE! Her enunciation was of course fine, but her intonation was horrendous. It sounded like someone reading a text book and making awkward pauses mid-sentence all the time. It made it very difficult to follow the narration. There were no differences in voice style between characters, and to be honest, listening felt more like a chore than anything else. Quite disappointed.
