Abridged is a massive understatement
One of my favourite ever books, I have read it many times and fancied trying it in audio form. I cannot believe just how much of the story has been cut. I’m so disappointed 😢

Abridged version
you have cut out alot of the book out, do not sensor literature and alter it. Have respect for the author.

Be aware the audible version is abridged
Amazing story but really disappointed when I realised that the audible version is abridged quite heavily. Wanted to hear the full version which doesn’t appear to be available here in English. Have had to buy again on kindle the read the full story.

A glimpse of the life of a Geisha
This favourite tale of mine came to life thanks to the narrator. She was the ideal chouce to tell the Geisha's story.

Pity only the abridged version is available
This is one of my favourite books. It’s a pity only the abridged version is available as such important parts were cut from the full story. But nice as a brief version and well performed.

not the full version but still good
it's a beautiful and tragic story, that is beautifully read. The only thing about it is that it was missing parts, but apart from that it was great!
