Summary

The year is 3149, and a vast paper destroying blight-papyralysis-has obliterated much of the planet's written history. However, these rare memoirs, preserved for centuries in a volcanic rock, record the strange life of a man trapped in a hermetically sealed underground community.

A fever dream of madness and uncertainty

I do enjoy some aspects of the book. The writing, the bonkers situations and some of the vibes it has are quite fun. But, it's a hard read/listen since it really has no story to follow. Just a bunch of fever dream episodes, weirdness and obscure situations. It's quite hard to follow along (part of the point, sure) and it's easy to zone out - which I did a number of times. It's not really for me, but I can appreciate some aspects it has still.
