About this listen
Max finds himself in a time loop.
Any kind of death annuls everything except his present knowledge and returns him to the past. This is a good way to test all sorts of things. That is, it would be, if not for one little thing.... This loop has real lords and it's unlikely that they'll be happy to hear about an uninvited guest.
And that isn't his only problem - all of his memories of the last year have simply disappeared, but the world around him has changed in the meantime. Earth has been seized by the Velly clan and is now part of their Star Empire. Max has also discovered his gift. He's a psychic.
However, his power isn't that big of a deal.
Everyone can be a level one "battery". To do anything else, however, you need to have some talent, money, and connections, which only complicates things further.
A whole new world, great opportunities, and lots of chances to get into trouble.... Welcome to the Last Time Loop!

Great
I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to listen to the next one. I am looking forward to all the secrets being unravelled.

Rebellion of what?
If your a fan of time travel, aliens and mystery’s then give this one a read. Was a bit slow and confusing to start, especially with the battery info but once you felt connected to the main character you wanted to see where it was going, though you do have to stick with it.

It all Depends.
I leave it with mediocre rates. Narrator is great as always and the story is interesting at best. It will all depend on the next book. My complaints are how slow it is. Nothing really happens for 10 hourse.. charge something go do something bad, get a little information and repeat. For 10 hourse.
They made a big deal of the princess so I was hoping for some behind the scenes love story but nothing... Not only no romance but she is only in the book for 5 minutes..
Okay the romance part is only my own opinion and don't reflect on the score.

Fun to listen to
It was a good pastime and I enjoyed it quite a bit. But the some details were somewhat.... not to my liking... The narration is great by the way. Probably the main reason I finished this book.
The protagonist suddenly finds himself living in a world ruled by ailiens. Until yesterday he was living on free Earth and the next day, earth is part of the Empire. He hasn't lived on the new reality for a month and it seems his mindset is already set on being a loyal lapdog of the empire. He's killed by the aliens multiple times and still all he wants is to kiss their butt and lick up the scraps they leave behind, to exaggerate a bit. I know in this book, the rebelion is a bit shady too but that's where I'm a bit uncomfortable with the authors flow of thoughts and reasoning... (What's wrong with some healthy rebelion and independence movement afterall? ;))
