About this listen

Her number number one rule: Don’t get involved with a dragon.

Dakota was finally going to be studying Art History abroad at Bangor University in Wales. It was a dream come true, everything was going to be perfect. Or so she had hoped. She knew about the dragons of Snowdonia, how couldn't she? The whole world knew dragons existed ever since The Occurrence. It's been years since then, but the one golden rule of the university was never get involved with a dragon or face immediate expulsion. She knew the consequences, and yet...here one was, standing in front of her in all it's glory and looking hotter than ever. This was going to be tough.

Wesley was a bit of a show off. To be fair, he was flying home when he heard the girl gasp. His beast took control and flew straight toward the pretty little vixen. There was something different about this woman, he couldn't quite figure it out. And when she rejects him, his attraction only grows. One way or another, he will have her.

Content Warning: This book contains lots of sexy shifter action. Intended for a mature audience only!

Enjoyable book

I'm new to this author, but I found this to be a enjoyable fairly quick book with a enjoyable storyline. Narration was OK, but didn't always flow very well.

Great start

This was a really great start to a new series. There was some interesting twists on the normal dragon lore which makes me want to learn more about the characters and where the story is going to progress.

a great story

Dakota left America to study in Wales. Wesley is a dragon shifter but he's not allowed to leave Snowdonia. A very good listen.

Red Dragons of North Wales

A good introduction to a new series containing many dissenting factions; humans, red dragons, white dragons and the GOE (Guardians of Existence). Due to fears, dragons have been restricted to an area on Snowdonia to keep they safely way from humans. This restriction understandably chafes on the dragons and makes find a mate very challenging. Wesley, a red dragon, had almost given up on finding a mate until he encounters Dakota. However, Dakota's travelled to Wales to study and isn't looking for mate, certainly not one who would get her instantly sent home...

The story starts slowly, but introduces a new series and does build to some action and excitement that might give hints about challenges other red dragons will face later in the series. It was an enjoyable easy listen. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.
