Summary

Mark Dawson’s Group Fifteen Files. Quick, lightning-paced action from the first minute to the last.

Bjorn Thorsson joined the Special Air Service to forget the horrors of his childhood. He killed for Queen and country, and he was good at it. He quits the army and settles down, looking for a quieter life. When his beautiful sister, Gudrun, finds herself in trouble with the owner of a hedge fund, Bjorn promises to get her out of danger. But there’s another factor in play.

Group Fifteen, a clandestine government agency, has plans for the financier, and Bjorn is in their way. Bjorn must outwit the Group in the streets of London and in the Highlands of Scotland if he is to protect his sister and survive.

A bit short

Entertaining but not very intricate plot. It felt more like a short Story. Narrator very good, as always.

Excellent set of short stories

I have now listened to all three of the Group 15 audible books and thoroughly enjoyed them. The stories were all gripping and had me enthralled from the start. Not keen on the narrator’s style of telling the story, but his take on the characters was good.

Brilliant

As good as everything else he's done. Enough said. A must listen. Enjoy its balance, great narration, tight story, realism, and a little thread of humour that the narrator gives it.

gripping, enjoyable fast paced,

Well narrated, though as with all Audible narration I would prefer a woman to read the parts of a woman, rather than have a man pretend especially where he's narrating the female role and combining it with a foreign accent. it just sounds doubly silly and I found this annoying, but on the whole a good Audible book.

Very good and action packed

This book was very different, but still has lots of action. I highly recommend this short story that packs a huge punch.

Terrific performance

Character differences clearly defined with excellent accents. Intriguing plot, full of suspense, well paced, characters credible.

Enjoyable tale but too short !!

I always enjoy these books and the way they are narrated. This book has some dodgy accents and is too short ! I do enjoy the way the author cross matches characters and guess there is potential for further use of the main character but he is very dour and will need to come out a little.

excellent narrator

The story itself was very simplistic and quite average. The Narration, however, was excellent and lifted the content.
