About this listen

Prepare to laugh, cry, and fall in love with this enthralling new romance from J. Bengtsson - available in audio first!

When a letter from his supposedly deceased mother finds its way into his hands, life changes in an instant for international pop star Bodhi Beckett.

Reeling from the deception of those closest to him, Bodhi spirals out of control and is sent to a secluded mansion in the coastal mountains of Southern California for some rest and relaxation. But the retreat proves to be anything but relaxing when a raging wildfire sets the landscape around him ablaze.

While escaping the flames, Bodhi rescues Breeze, a quirky, pet-loving woman, and together the two fight their way to safety. In the aftermath of the fire, Bodhi and Breeze hit the road to uncover the truth about his family. What neither of them expected is to forge a powerful connection that will change their lives forever...but can it survive the real world, or will it disappear like the wind?

A book to treasure!!

With a fabulous, fun, heart warming story, starring two lovely characters in Breeze and Bhodi, Like the Wind has completely won my heart. This is a story which I will return to regularly, especially if I need a pick-me-up. It starts with some heart stopping and vividly described, jeopardy and moves onto a delightful romance.
The narration by Callie Dalton and Zachary Webber is also warm, convincing and of a quality that ensures your concentration and focus is maintained throughout. A complete delight.

Awesome narration and love story!

Bodhi and Breeze meet by chance while escaping from the California wildfires and sparks of their own soon start to fly. The chemistry was immediate and I rooted for them from start to finish. The narration was awesome, especially Callie Dalton!

My favourite Bengtsson book! It's unmissable!

I don't know where to start I loved this audiobook so much! The storyline was unique I never heard anything quite like this one and it started with excitement and speed and characters I was invested in from the very beginning. Bengtsson writes complex 'real' characters with hurt and pain and this adds so much to their story and their love when it blossoms. Bodhi and Breeze were full of this, you love them and their journeys that have made them who they are. Added to this you get a full background of awesome characters to support them, families and friends who help you to understand your beloved main characters and with a dialogue that is second to none! I was laughing and crying and full of love for everyone in this story and would love there to be more! The narrators were excellent as usual, a good choice for these two characters and I felt I could see their story play out in my mind whilst listening to them. I will listen to this again and again!

Fantastic book

Best story I’ve heard for a while. My mistake with this book was thinking I’d start listening to it in bed before going to sleep ...it got to 3 in the morning and I was still awake as it was too exciting to put down. And I kept silently laughing and making the bed shake so my husband thought something was wrong with me. I forced myself to go to sleep and immediately carried on listening as soon as I woke. Great characters, really enjoyable story, and the only thing that let it down was the slightly cheesy declarations towards the end that seemed to lose the charm that the rest of the book had with how real the dialogue felt and how genuine their relationship. Such a small niggle though so it can be easily overlooked.

I’ve enjoyed J. Bengtsson’s other books, but this one is now, by far, my favourite.
