Summary
Best-selling author, superstar physicist, and cofounder of the World Science Festival Brian Greene (The Elegant Universe, The Fabric of the Cosmos) and an ensemble cast led by award-winning actor Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) perform this dramatic story tracing Albert Einstein's discovery of the general theory of relativity. Featuring an original score by composer Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Pollock), Einstein’s electrifying journey toward his greatest achievement is brought vividly to life.
The theatrical version of Light Falls was first performed at the World Science Festival in New York City.

light falls
This is brilliant!! Even much better than the great writing of the book is the magnificent presentation of the audiobook. It's like being in a theatre of physics. Best audiobook I've heard. Great job!

Another fantastic Brian Greene book.
Must read in my humble opinion. The passion and knowledge of the subject matter oozes from this book. Just a brilliant listen/read.

The great thinking that heralded new perspectives
The resultant Special & General Theories of Relativity on top of which giving more depth to the workings of Gravity, this was heady stuff. The maths was tricky but it had to be proven. Finally it was and to see how it all happened is a great story.

Except the ending, all good.
The ending is a bit sided, do we really know what Einstein thought about death? Someone who only believes in this life, as it is said way too many times as once you are dead you are dead in the recording, would definitely want to extend his life as this life would be the only one he has…

Complex topics that are clearly presented
I had already read lots of major physics titles before listening to Light Falls, I have learned a lot in the last decade but had not fully grasped some concepts, til I got this. The analogies are great and the presentation is excellent. It's very well-written and very polished.

Great story, irritating presentation.
I love physics and books about physics, and the story presented here is undeniably interesting. However I found the presentation irritating, with music constantly in the background. This is one that I would probably prefer in written form.

BACKGROUND MUSIC ? REALLY ?
Audio books with background music are certainly not for me . How anyone would come up with a silly idea as that is beyond me.
