Summary
Goddammitsonofabitch. The mullet is back.
The year is 1988, and Dallas Stone returns for his most lethal case yet. When an ancient artefact is discovered by a meek-mannered librarian, little does he realize, he has released an evil, so powerful, the future of our civilization is at stake. The world’s best hope for survival rests with a disgraced police officer and a motley crew of misfits.
Lethal Forcefulness is a fun-filled homage to the action and adventure movies of the 1980s and is an adrenaline-fueled ride where, action, magic, mullets, and bullets collide.

Absolute wild ride and top class narration
This sequel does not disappoint. Such a fun action read. If you love those 80s movies like big trouble in little China you'll love this.
The narrator on this book is amazing. fantastic tone, pace and his variety of voices is brilliant. The sound effects really add to the story and his narration brings all the characters to life. Top job.

Hold on Tight!
Another great story in the Lethal Saga series from Steve McElhenny. Funny and fast paced from the very start. this book is pure entertainment. Dallas Stone the whisky fuelled maverick cop starts of trying to negotiate the release of hostages being held in an orphanage with disastrous results that cost him his job, and there the story starts. Plenty of well defined characters form a misfit crew to try and save the world. Hold on tight as it's one heck of a roller coaster ride. John Lee Payton does a brilliant job of narrating the book with his enthusiasm and wealth of different voices. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.

Entertaining Forcefullness...
The sequel has arrived to Stephens hit book about a less than 'by the book' cop Dallas Stone. The first thing that hit me was the change in narrator and I was left wondering how I would get along with John. However that was soon put to rest once everybody's favourite cop Stone arrived in the story. The narrators different voices and styles kept the ride entertaining, and although the story starts very differently than expected it soon builds and leads into a fantastic new direction for Stone and his comrades. Once more I found myself laughing out loud and throughly entertained once more by this fantastic writer. Everybody should give this series a try!

Lethal Laughter
Dallas Stone is back and this time he ain't working alone. Prepare to meet old friends and make new ones as the rebel cop takes on evil incarnate in the sequel to Lethal Dangerousness. Expect McElhenny's signature comedy throughout along with madcap characters as well. It's most definitely a worthy sequel and I'm looking forwards to Dallas Stone's next crazy case.
Payton is a decent narrator with a well developed range of character voices but as I noted in his work previously the sound quality is a little off which detracts from a rather good performance. But don't let my pedantic nature dissuade you from listening. It's a genuinely great performance.
