Summary

Grazie

beautiful story very well told

the characters, especially the mother and father, really came alive thanks to all the typical phrases that the writer recalls

Splendida Margherita Buy e bella storia

a great waste of opportunity for the writer and great waste of time for the reader

A story written looking through a keyhole, missing entirely the sense. No fresco of a tine nor of a soul, no sociological meaning, no psychological analysis.
So dull that the parents of the writer, certainty solid persons, appear as idiots. A shame!

May be it is the mirror of a disgraceful generation of self declared intellectuals which has damaged Italy so much.

If I think to other female writers (Morante- la storia or more recently Ferrante) the comparison in embarrassing!

A waste opportunity: because the writer, for privilege of birth, had the opportunity to know great personalities (Olivetti, Einaudi, Turati…)
but the reader is left with frustration because the book is empty. zero.
