Una mujer se aloja en un hotel madrileño y, al salir a la calle, experimenta un salto en el tiempo… Cristina Fernández Cubas vuelve a la infancia y a la madurez, posa su mirada en la soledad y en la familia, indaga en la vida aparentemente anodina que llevamos, y nos descubre que lo enigmático, lo asombroso, pasa inadvertido hasta que tenemos el arrojo de pararnos a observar con detenimiento.
