Magnifique
As an 'ancien prof de francais', I know my French is good but the delivery by Pagnol is incredibly fast! I changed the settings to 0.7 speed, wonderful.
The story, the language, just beautiful. I knew the book and the film.
I've now got Le chateau de ma mere !

Une histoire pleine de bons sentiments

Magical
A wonderful book to read. it means so much more in it's original French than in an English translation. It doesn't even matter that you don't know exactly what every word means, just keep reading. And Marcel Pagnol's voice is so easy to listen to.
