Summary

From New York Times best-selling author, CD Reiss, comes an all new, sexy tale of secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and a love worth crossing a continent for.

Taylor Harden is a man on the edge.

The edge of fame. The edge of untold wealth.

The edge of utter humiliation.

He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it gets hacked.

His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. Boom. Like that.

Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor's code, and if he does not get it back, he is going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life.

Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He is not a guy.

Harper Watson is all woman. And she has a plan for Taylor, his code, and his body.

Awesome story

Another great story from this talented author, enjoyed the journey through the complex computer world
and loved the characters. First rate narration too.

Outstanding!!!

This fantastic story is brilliantly brought to life by Christian Fox. A complex and intiguing story in which our hero learns the joy of becoming human, through being challenged in his casual mysoginy by the brilliant Harper, remains necessary listening throughout. Christian Fox's narration is a masterpiece.

Written in code or the language of love?

Strange fast paced enigmatic book about computer coder, his code and the female hacker who nearly broke him and his heart.

Intense from the start, breakneck through most of the book, then a mind-bendingly slow hiatus which almost drives the listener mad, but really makes way for the final chapters. Superb narration.

Not everyone's cup of tea, as coding and tech speak abound. Really enjoyed the story.

I rate this book 8/10

Brilliant.

I first read this book about 4 years ago if not 5. Loved it to bits. I’ve re-read it once a year as it is THAT good. Listening to it as so much better thou, as I can listen and do my work at the same time. Brilliant performance by Christian Fox by the way.

Slow. Tedious and Boring

The blurb is exciting and interesting however the reality is utterly disappointing. I have listened for hours and now at halfway through the narrative, I have decided to give up.

The story is boring, appears disjointed and wholly unbelievable. I'm impressed that I got through the chapter where he arrives at the small town and stumbled through the motions of searching out the hacker... because it is almost mind numbing - curiosity probably.

I'm returning this one. This is the first time that I'm reading anything by this author. It may be my last.
