Summary
Amateur sleuths Jessie Harper and George Jenkins, of the Dale Street Private Investigations Agency, and Jessie’s companion, the mysterious talking cat Khan set off on another murder investigation in 1930's Liverpool, England.
Their old friend and mentor, Detective Sergeant Bill Roberts of the Liverpool City Police asks them to take on a cold case, a dockland murder with supernatural elements. They agree and start their own investigation just before the fifth anniversary of the murder on Christmas Eve.
Their suspect is Jack Crawley, a rough dock worker with a quick temper and a history of violence. As they approach him, he denies knowing anything about the murder, but his nervousness suggests otherwise.
Following Khan's lead, they investigate further and eventually uncover the truth behind the crime.

Another Tricky Case.
Jessie, George and Kahn the cat are involved in another tricky mystery full of plot twists, unfathomable clues, conundrums and Liverpudlian characters. The great seaport city of Liverpool is wonderfully invoked as our team of private detectives travel from location to location seeking answers and the truth to solve the mystery. Kakn, the magic cat, plays a pivotal role in the teams unusual crime detection. Through the lovely narration by Alan R Gron this has been an immersive listen. Make a cup of tea, put on your comfy slippers, relax in your favourite chair and enjoy this wonderful audiobook.

So, Jesse episode two. And again it’s a little cracker.i listened and listened to this one couldn’t put it down. I loved it. I honestly didn’t think I would like cozy mysteries, but this series has changed my mind. Long may it continue. Cannot wait for the next one that’s for sure. Highly recommended listen.

A delightful cozy mystery set in 1030's Liverpool in the North West of England. Fun characters and an intriguing plot plus a talking cat...what more do you need?
